Just from the demo I played, the physics are truly outstanding. I believe it uses the Havoks physics engine, and this is the best I've seen it implemented yet.

Oh yeah, they are outstanding. You can throw a guy against a wall, see his rag doll body flop against it, leaving a big blood stain and then he flops to the ground. Then you can walk over and kick him all over the place. Or just pick him back up, bang his head on poles or what not. Very much a sleeper hit.

Been playing through this for a few days, and this my friends is a sleeper hit. The mind drain of blowing up someone's head is one of the most fun things I have ever done, twisted eh? The story is great, the game plays great, I really think Midway is on a roll. I also loved The Suffering, found it a sleeper hit as well. At least rent this game, it's so good.

Hey ExtremeGamer (or anyone else) - now that the novelty has worn off, are you still enjoying this game? Thinking of maybe picking it up. Single player? Multiplayer??

I still play it, about an hour a night, I could have probably beat it by now, but tossing people around, jumping into people's minds, etc is just too much fun. There is no real multiplayer, other than the lame, one guy controls your guy, and other does the Psi powers. For single player though, I love it.

The way you can smash guys, levitate em into furnaces, toss em into fans, and blow their heads up NEVER GETS OLD. After a while, the fun of Psi-Ops becomes analyzing the environment and finding creative ways to massacre the enemy soldiers. I levitated a guy over a nasty ledge, shot him about 2-3 times to hear him sqeal and then let him drop about 100ft. Then I casually took the elevator down to him took his weapon, and sucked a little psi-energy from his twisted corpse. How cool is that?
