This game is freaking awesome. I skipped the last simcity due to the ridiculous always online restriction. Soo fun and it runs smooth on my mid powered pc.
Ran into an issue at first with the layout of my water and sewage pipes. My water pipes were blocking my sewage pipes from reaching my citizens. lol

You can join your clean and sewage pipes so that they won't conflict with each other.

a few quick screens from my 23k pop grid city.

        far shot

part of the highway where I put some office zones at. was hoping they wuld end up being taller, but I guess they will need to be upgraded first.

view from starting highway entrance, I replaced the T junction with this 4-way for future expansion.

more of a street level view in the residential area

Just spent 2 hours creating a perfect traffic pattern for my City, everything was running so smooth. Added a 2 new neighborhoods and everything was going great. Then I got off for 5 minutes, exited, and forgot to save. fml fml fml.

The fact that something like this could happen at all makes me want the game.

The last city manager I played was Sim City 2000 and that was years and years ago so I have come to Cities fairly new. I equate it more to Minecraft where you are free to be creative and as long as you provide the basic needs for your citizens you can try a lot of different things. I haven't played the Tropico series but I thought it had more stringent objectives.
