Well just had the worst attack team in overwatch. They wouldnt attack, they all sit back and try to get kills. At one point I snuck in behind them and used freeze girl ult to freeze their whole team and nobody ran in. Smh.

I usually don't get on until 8 pdt. Got to get the kids down to bed. Played with bruise. He had a nice POTG as tracer
Sticky bombed some guys. It was fun. Do you guys do any voice communication?

I can if I need to. Just haven't set up my mic to use on the PC for a long time.

Along with Tracer I had some good games with D.Va, which has to be the most interesting Tank archetype I've ever seen. Nothing like being able to, along with the normal tanking job of soaking up damage and staying near a healer, rocket boost up to any sniper I see and just maul them if I'm not getting healing support. So many squishy heroes seem to get that "deer in headlights" look with a tank flying toward them and once I'm in the back line the chaos really starts, both from me and from the teammates it opens up for attack.

Plus....I got a voice line out of a loot box that actually has D.Va saying GG.

That makes it all worthwhile.

Along the same lines this is the first game I have actually wanted to use every single character on the roster depending on the game situation. While I'm not quite as good with the melee characters their support roles allow me to play with them without having to focus on attacking.

Yeah I'm not very good with Reinhardt but I've seen people, one guy especially, just dominate with him, he was mopping us up

Does his hammer get a "headshot" bonus if lands on the head or is damage static with the hammer

Damage is static.

I don't believe he gets headshot bonus.

Did the other PC guys remap their Melee to something other than V? That's a long, inaccurate stretch from WASD for me (meaning I hit the C key on accident way too often).

It's been better since I moved it to F - don't really need an instant acknoweledgement button when the communication is wheel is so quick and easy to use.

I think it's static. I find that I hardly use the hammer. He's my favorite for targeting one dominant player and taking them out since I just keep the shield up until I can isolate them from the group then I pin them with charge and finish with the firestrike. Then I just bring the shield back up until my charge cools down.

Er, that's kind of wrong and kind of right.



Placebo effect.

I don't know how you can call the difference in tickrates a placebo effect. It's easy to see and measure the differences.

Up to a point it is, once you get past a certain threshold humans can't detect it anyways. We're talking a tiny, tiny amount of milliseconds here.

Lag compensation is what the issue is with getting shot around corners. Not tickrate.

I mapped it to one of the thumb buttons on my mouse. I haven't really used melee that often though.

If you have additional buttons on your mouse it will try to use one of them by default
