For the record, I haven't been this excited about the release of anything since The Matrix Reloaded. I pray it's 8/24, that would royally kick arse. The new Lamb of God album, Halo 2, and Ozzfest in Tampa all within 14 days. Sensory overload.

for those who have looked at the coutodwn i have an possible explanation for the 3 different countdowns.

2 days- Microsoft has a gameing convention on tuesday. Posibble announcement?
17 days- Game goes gold
29 days- Game released

Some guy on another board says the PAX thing Penny Arcade is doing is the 2nd counter (halo 2 is playable there).

Heh same guy said if you take that girls email and multiply the numbers you get 343 (wasn't that little robot guy called that in Halo?)

I think it's nothing really. It'll come out on Nov 9. I'd much rather have it now though.

I was talking to my friend online today and he says his friend's dad works for Bungie and he's getting one level playable demo tomorrow. I really think its BS, but my friend isn't one to BS. So hopefully I'll get him to come over sometime this week and if its true I'll tell you guys how it is.

I'm not making this up, I hate when people make crap up about getting games earlier and stuff, and I'm 100% serious on this. If its all true, I'll take some pictures with my digital camera (the quality will be crap..but it will be something)

I'll keep you guys informed.
