I posted this earlier today, its a good read. I'll probably have to wait to play this at Christmas though. I can only buy so many guys by myself.

I have the game and simply love it. I can already tell this is the best X-men game ever made. It plays just like a comic book adventure. Question, when did Iceman start wearing a freakin hat?

get us some impressions...i might have to put this on my RPG list, but I'm hesitant until I hear for sure it doesn't suck...games based off of comics don't have a good track record...

I picked this up yesterday. I am a big fan of the Baldur's Gate games on the console and Champions of Norrath. It plays a alot like those with some more features. Being able to have up to 4 people in your party will be cool. I only did the first mission and so far I have 2 people in my party. The AI controlled person seems to be pretty smart in helping you out. I also like how you can switch to other people in your party on the fly.

I do not want to really give anything away from the story but I did the first mission and then made it to the Mansion.


The leveling up in this game seems pretty cool. Allowing you to improve stats and get more moves designed for each character. You can also level up the moves after you acquire them.

If you like X-Men and like the hack and slash action RPG this is a no brainer. Anyone who is a fan of the games I mentioned above will feel right at home.

I plan on putting in some serious time over the weekend to see where the story leads and how each of the characters are implemented.


There are lots of things to find and there is the training room at the mansion to help you get the feel for the combat instead of just a button mash. The training room also earns you XP for leveling your characters. There is also a nice little X-Men trivia game you can play in the mansion.

With so many characters making an appearance in this game, from what I read you get a great backstory from all of them, this game is definately a winner in my book.

I was also hesitent at first but my brother called me and was gushing about the game. He knows how much I loved the hack\slash action RPG and told me it would be right up my alley .

Yeah, I finished the first mission as well and got to the mansion. I plan on starting the game over again because it was late last night when I started playing it, so I kinda rushed through the tour of the mansion. I am going to start with a clear head so that I can maximize my enjoyment of the game. Again, you can already tell that this is by far the best X-men game ever made. Also, you can determine how your computer controlled characters respond by allotting points to their aggression etc...in the character section. Yeah, this game is off the hook!!
