It is. The game isn't part of EA Access at all. So no trial, no discount. But this game is very different than every other EA game. EA doesn't own the studio or the IP for the game. They're probably not allowed to put this game on EA Access. Maybe they tried to come to some agreement with Respawn, but couldn't. Who knows. Their publishing agreement with Respawn started after EA Access so maybe that's part of it as well.

I loved the first so I will probably pick this up when on sale digitally. Also might grab watch dogs 2.

              Re: Titanfall 2

I think this game is absolutely Great.

I have been playing the single-player campaign for about 2 hours so far and I absolutely love it. "BT" is my boy.

The game looks, sounds, and (most impressively) feels outstandingon PS4. Movement is so fluid, controls are so responsive. The fluidity of movement is second to none. Chaining together double jumps, wall rides, slides, with the fantastic gunplay is so much fun.

Not sure what you guys have your sensitivity at. I raised it to 5 with classic aiming option, 6, 7, and 8 all felt too snappy. I think if you go too high you lose the aim assist as well, and in this game aim assist is handled very well.

I was reading all the reviews this morning and so many of them were super positive and I was like "I liked the first but can this game really be that good?" and so far it is. Haven't even dipped into multi-player yet.

Very very very very much enjoying my experience so far.

I just hope that releasing so close to BF1 isn't going to cripple it. It is a more than worthy addition to any FPS fans library in my humble opinion

              Edit

Playing on Hard and feels perfect for me so far

Did I read correctly that there is no season pass and all future map and mode content will be free for everyone ?

Yup, that's correct. Smart decision given how the map DLC for the first game fragmented the user base.

                  10. All Maps, Modes, and More are Free After Launch

No Season Pass required: all maps & modes will be free in Titanfall 2 Multiplayer. This means no splitting up the community and it all starts with the legendary Angel City map, remastered from the original Titanfall. This means once you’ve purchased Titanfall 2, your investment includes a full single player campaign, the full multiplayer maps and modes, and long-term support with no hidden costs. You can pre-order the game to play 3 days early, but it will never cost you extra.

Glad to hear it. I caved and picked it up since it will be a nice change of base from BF1. Can't go wrong owning two great FPS titles.

                      Damn right my man

Game is currently sitting at a very high score of 89 on metacritic which I think is tied with BF1

I am taking my time trying to collect every helmet in each mission. Spent over an hour in the second mission alone trying to get each one when I still missed two of them somehow

Man, I really hated the first Titanfall. I think mostly cause I was getting burnt out on the scifi shooters, etc. Watching some streams tho it looks fun.

I haven't played any of the recent CoDs and I'm not planning on buying the new one so luckily sci-fi shooter like this is a great companion game to pair with BF1 to switch back and forth with, at least just for me personally

I can definitely see how someone could be burnt on the futuristic sci fi setting though. That's part of why BF1 is such a breath of fresh air right now
