Bad guys are too durable. I understand Spider-man pulls his punches so he doesn't kill people or something, so that's why it takes so many strikes to ko thugs.

Some of the basic thugs can stand up to two or three manhole covers or motorcycles thrown at them though.

I'll say right off the get go, I'm a huge Spider-Man and Marvel fan. Needless to say it's my favorite game of all time. Just finished the main story up last night. I tried to take my time with it as much as possible because I simply didn't want it to end. Still can't wait to get done work and play more tonight!

Damn, as you get further in the game the random crime gets intense. Start with break ins, robberies, kidnapping’s, mugging’s, etc, to more vehicle chases then before, more rooftop ambush’s, armored car robberies, hostage situations, street shootouts, and bombs. Like the sound of those shootouts, sounds really good in the game.

Yep, Everything in the game gets more and more intense.

Finished the story around 83 percent completion. Essentially just have street crimes, the research labs and a couple side missions left. Not sure if I feel like doing the research labs. Only thing in the game I could do without.

LOL. True Dave. If the thugs reacted to damage like we think they should though the game would be too easy and over in 10 hours or less. I'm playing on spectacular and Joey the thug routinely beats me down if I don't plan my attacks or monitor my health bar..

For drone and bomb challenges, after you've done it once or twice to learn the route, web zip everywhere including the bomb. Try to swing as little as possible.

For combat challenges, load up your suit with things that give you bonus focus, and use as many finishers as you can. It's all about time. There's an unlock you get late in the tree I think that lets you use a second finisher right after the first one so you can have basically 6 stored up. And use web blossom. I think I had the trait that gave bonus focus for web attacks, went in and cleared the first wave with a web blossom, stored 3 focus bars, and cleaned up the rest.

For the stealth challenges, you just have to learn the layout. I'm used to Batman so I just zipped from perch to perch doing perch takedowns whenever I could, and hit guys close to walls with impact web. Shooting trip mines at their chests and tying them together might be useful there too but I never really bothered.

Thought someone said in here you only needed to get 2. I’m having trouble with a stealth one at the moment.

Easier said than done.

Definitely, and there was one drone challenge where, after I figured out my strategy, I was so preoccupied trying to find zip points that I kept failing over and over [emoji38]. The hardest ones to ace for me were actually the stealth ones. The bomb ones are really easy when you realize you can zip straight to the bomb and at every point in between. The hardest one is the one where there's water in between but even then you launch from one spot almost clear over the bomb and just zip right to it. You can tell I spent my full workdays off doing these challenges on repeat lol.

Fresh, you don't need 6 tokens from each. There's no trophy for acing them all, or for upgrading gadgets all the way. You only need to do every one once to get the trophy, and I think getting 2 on all of them would cover the suits. I got all the suits and all but one equipment upgrade because I was 2 tokens short, but I finished having done one of the stealth challenges with only 1 token, all 6 on almost all of them except for 2 I think.

Thanks for the run-down. I finally opened those up last night, but was somewhat disappointed by the fact that they're all primarily time based challenges.

Don't even get me started dude. I put over 200 hours into Arkham City, at least 100 of which were endless runs in the Iceberg Lounge (the combat challenge room with no timer) just racking up high scores in the Batman Beyond suit. I'm hoping they do more with the challenges next time around. I'm hoping for one with a boss rush, just do the boss fights back to back to back.
