I ordered from ebgames.com and chose instore pickup. Will I be able to get my game today? I've never done the instore pickup option before. Was it worth it?

I think the in store pickup is the best way to go if your close to the store, unless you can get free shipping to your home, then you get it the day it comes out and dont have to pay shipping. Call the EB it is being shipped to and find out when they will start selling it.

After that, what much else is there besides messing around. For a person like myself that cant really afford to buy a 50 dollar game, what are usually the perks of buying a GTA type game.

I can spend 12 bucks renting it for 10 days and get the satisfaction, is there more to it than just going through missions?
kind of hard to beleive seeing as this one guy on a gta board is like devoted to gta vice city and he didnt even get it done that quick. here is what he wrote:

"Some of your were saying that my previous record was not as spectacular as it could have been since it was not 100% completion. Of course getting 100% would take significiently longer. So, this Sunday, I will be making an attempt of "The fastest time possible to beat GTA: Vice City with 100% completion in 1 sitting." This has taken over 2 weeks of planning. I have made myself a guide (13 pages of size 10 text) and map (poster size) to do this in the fastest time possible.

After the test runs and estimations; I have come to the conclusion that it takes approximaitely 14 to 15 hours to complete the game with 100%.

Here is the result of my final test run... (for those who can't read it, it says 13:41 (hours and minutes)"

definately take your time on this game and enjoy it, it isnt meant to be rushed through and finished so quickly.

Fight the urge. You guys knew this game was coming as well as Gran Turismo 4...Fight it and just wait for it to hit Xbox. Wont be long and we will have Halo 2 anyway.

Ya the game isnt meant to be rushed at all and me I take my time on it. GTA San Andreas is like 10 times bigger its a huge game and I can easily see myself not beating it for a couple of months and even after that im gonna explore and stuff. In this one you can swim, dive underwater, build up your character, Boxing Matches, Lowrider Matches (think DDR or Leisure Suit Larry) Pump Iron, Soop up your car, Raise Cattle and much more. Games like these are very rare take your time to enjoy them they dont come every often this is the reason why we buy our consoles -Awesome Titles!

P.S. for that guy who claims he got 95 percent complete in 10 hours thats impossible. the record is 15 hours and that guy was running at full speed the entire game and knew where every secret mission and package was.
