Wow those games suck. not to mention can be purchased at a max. price of 20 bucks. not much of a consolation prize for the hundreds of hours logged on those cards

They could just as easily release a "we're sorry, sucks for you" press release and not do anything else. I'm sure just about everyone would rather have their saves back, but it's at least a nice gesture if nothing else by Sony.

Excellent point! For as much moaning and groaning some people around here do about the lack of customer care most big gaming companies have, you'd think everyone would be singing the praises of Sony for doing this. I know I am, and I don't even have this demo disc!

will never happen Sony doesnt own those companies, as you can see they are giving away SCEA made titles only (1st Party) they can only speak for themselves. They are actually giving you a good choice of their own titles.

i guess you didnt notice the sarcasm

even if those games were all 1st party titles, the fact is Sony still would not give those out.

What i was getting at is that people are expecting sony to pony up the equivalent of a new game instead of a decent greatest hits game. That wont happen.

Once something becomes a big problem, sony does the right thing in certain situations. Like when you get a disc read error and you call them up, they repair/clean it for free.
