I dont see how a Halo movie could be any good. It sounds like another Wing Commander waiting to happen.

I cant really think of any games that could be converted well into movies. I know Spy Hunter and possibly Metroid are in the works and Alone in the Dark was just released, I think, but I dont have much hope for any of them.

Movies can be made into good games though. Look at Goldeneye and Chronicles of Riddick.

The Mario Bros movie should actually be reason #1. Followed closely behind that Jean Claud Van Dam Street Fighter movie.


A game that'll make good as a movie is Deus Ex. It already has a movie like script and theme. In fact, the entire game reads like one big hollywood movie.

Totally agree. Kingdom Hearts has a great story IMO.

Rainbow Six (which was a book before it was a great game) is in talks to become a movie. Splinter Cell would be good, as well as Halo (Samuel Jackson as Sgt. Johnson)
