But you got the Japanese one, with all the problems like the square button issues. And you don't have a warranty either, and knowing Sony products, that is step #1 that I will be buying on launch day with my PSP.
Give us some impressions though once you get it, it's still cool to be the first on the block with one.Comment

I just do not understand people getting a Japan version of the PSP. It will be out here soon and unlike the GBA\DS it is region coded. Region 1 games (North America) will not play on a Japanese PSPActually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. ShaverComment

Despite putting a region code on their games (as seen in the FCC manual), Sony has stated again that games for their upcoming portable platform will be region free. That means a game bought in Japan should work on North American PSPs, and vice-versa.
And I don't consider March 29th soon. (that's 2 months and even then the chance of getting one is unlikely with the high possibility of shortages)Comment
