lol, trust me, I'm not rich. The only reason I even got to buy it is because I've been saving money up for 3-4+ months.

Actually I only overpayed about $100. The PSP games will be $50 (more than likely) and shipping from Japan ($40) is a decent price...the only thing I overpayed on was a PSP which will normally be $200 (more than likely) but like I said, for being so rare to get right now $306 is a good price.

But you got the Japanese one, with all the problems like the square button issues. And you don't have a warranty either, and knowing Sony products, that is step #1 that I will be buying on launch day with my PSP.

Give us some impressions though once you get it, it's still cool to be the first on the block with one.

Why are you people bent out of shape over what HE paid for the thing, this is stupid. It's HIS money, enjoy the thing man - I just dropped 400 on the sports pack big whoop dee doo...

I believe the guy is giving me the warranty for it and personally the square button is not a huge deal. It only affects some PSP's and I don't even know anyone that has a PSP that has had problems with it.

And I of course will give impressions of the PSP/Ridge Racers.

I just do not understand people getting a Japan version of the PSP. It will be out here soon and unlike the GBA\DS it is region coded. Region 1 games (North America) will not play on a Japanese PSP

Despite putting a region code on their games (as seen in the FCC manual), Sony has stated again that games for their upcoming portable platform will be region free. That means a game bought in Japan should work on North American PSPs, and vice-versa.

Trust me if it wasn't region free, I wouldn't be getting it.

And I don't consider March 29th soon. (that's 2 months and even then the chance of getting one is unlikely with the high possibility of shortages)
