Aren't they going to hit the shelves costing between $150-$200? To me, it just seems silly to pay that much right now, especially if it's packaged with Ridge Racers...but then again, I'm not a racer fan.

Make sure to drop some impressions, when you get it.

well I have a freind at Ebgames and they said sony will only be selling the PSP's in a package form, like the PSP vaule pack and like 3 games, that will go for around $356 or for like $399, thats what he said it could very well change, if you go to Ebgames website you will know what I mean.

With all the button problems the Japanese version has, I'll be waiting for the American release since they have said the button config has been fixed.

well I have now own my Japanese version fo 2 weeks now with 0 problems, no problems with the square button whatsoever, so I'm not sure if all those complainers on the net are telling the truth about half the problems being reported with the PSP.

Plus I hear the Japanese version is made with the Sharp LCD screen and the American version is being made with the Samaung LCD. And from reading reports on the net teh sharp LCD screen in the Japanese version is supose to be better then the samsung LCD. Who know though.

I just do not understand people getting a Japan version of the PSP. It will be out here soon and unlike the GBA\DS it is region coded. Region 1 games (North America) will not play on a Japanese PSP

All PSP games will be region free, sony spoke about this awhile back, UMD movies and music will not be, so lets clear that up know, I spoke to a sony rep yesterday about this and he said it's not offical but he knows all games will be region free, he also told that there know way that nintendo will make games region free and not sony

Plus all game have a region code on the back of all games, and NA region code is 1 and the Japanses region code on the back of game are 2, that being said, the games have to be coding with that on the back of the games just for the purpose for proof of puchase, so they can keep track on how games are selling there region, it has nothing to do with the games playing on other region systems. They say all games will be region free, especially for the people who tend to travel alot form the states to Japan. If the games weren't region free Sony will lose out bigtime.

Well thanks to USPS's website, I'm getting my PSP today! I checked there site, put in my number and a post office in my area got it about 1 hour ago. I can't wait. (and of course I will give impressions of the PSP and Ridge Racers )
