What do you guys want? I personally want the new Hack-n-Slash title that was orginally planned for 2004 and was called, "The Lord of thr Rings Trilogy" and EA was quite excited about it in a EGM Afterthoughts interview on Return of the King. I still play this game and it is an absolute blast to play. I think that this game could be expanded to be very good. Free camera, (Not fixed, which sucks) Be able to fight on horseback (Gandalf, Rohan), maybe more playable caracters, like Theoden and Eomer and Eywon {sp} [Eomer's sister, white lady of Rohan], this would follow all three movies obviosly and know that the movies are all out and everyone on the planet has seen them like 50 times, they shouldn't have to shy away from anything and they could actually insert the story too. Combat could be different for deferent characters. Aragon and Gimili would be mostly as they are in RotK, but Legolas could have more combat with the bow and arrow (for obvios reasons) and a more advanced "ranged" attack system. Gandalf would be able to fight on horseback and have more emphasis on using magic (like driving away the Nazgul from the Gondor rangers fleeing from Osgiliath in RotK with the crazy light), so Gandaf would use more spells, but still be very skilled in close combat (As he is). The Hobbits could have stealth gameplay, like staying away from the Nazgul in the Shire.
I really would like to see this happen and EA also has some other options. Expansion or full second game of Battle for Middle-Earth, and 'nother Third Age game (lame) or wait until next-gen.
