How long have you been reading Operations Sports and what brought you here?
Well, it's tough to remember exactly what brought me here, but since my join date is September 2004, I'm guessing I was in search for some good sliders for ESPN NFL 2k5. What I found were some great sliders — and a great community to share ideas about sports, sports gaming, and life in general.
What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?
With all the information and enjoyment that this community has provided, I figured that OS deserved my support. The custom avatar and title perks didn't hurt either.
Your favorite Sports Teams?
I'm from Kansas City, so my list of favorite teams is pretty predictable: Chiefs, Royals, and Chicago Bulls. Since I am a student at MU, I'm also a Tigers fanatic.
The only problem with the above list is that all my favorite teams stink. Oh sure, the Bulls were a dynasty in the mid-90's, but I wasn't even in my teens during their glory years. The Chiefs may look like a consistently competitive team, but our last playoff win came way back in 1994. Mizzou's football team seems to always underachieve, and this year's basketball teams is often painful to watch. The Royals... well, I think we all know a little about the Royals' struggles.
Still, I keep the faith. That's part of being a true sports fan — sticking with yourthrough the good times and the bad.
What are your hobbies?
Most of the video games I play are sports games, except for some occasional Grand Theft Auto or Dance Dance Revolution (that's right, DDR baby!). When I'm not playing sports video games, I am either watching them on TV or outside playing them — I love playing baseball, basketball, tennis and some occasional touch football.
Aside from sports, I love to write, follow politics, and hang out with my friends.
