    One nice benefit Kevin...

I'm on I-65 South between Bham and Montgomery. It takes me 40 min to get to Montgomery from my house. So I can be in Auburn in about an hour or so.

Nice house AA... I'm in the process of searching for a home here in Buffalo or Rochester, NY... That is a nice price, but up here in Upstate, NY I could get a HUGE house for $179,000... But you had yours built and thats always a good thing...

Congrats AA, we bought our house 2 years ago, best thing we've ever done.

Move! That's the very reason why half the people in my office are transfers from our California Offices. They move here because of the lower cost of living (it aint' that low) and they can actually afford to buy a home here.

                          Nice crib. Great price.

That place in my area would be at least 400k. Great deal!!!

its because of property taxes, they're ridiculously low in AL. Hell my parents house is 3800 sq feet, 2 stories, 4 BR/3 BA with a basement and it was only around 300K I think. Helps though that we own the land it sits on. To find a house in Tuscaloosa pushing 1 million you'd have to go a place like Crowne Pointe which is on Lake Tuscaloosa.
