    Booking Vacations Online

    Hey Guys,

So on Sept 17th, my parents will be celebrating their 24 years of marriage. As a gift, I was thinking about getting them a 7day trip to Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican, w/e. I know I should wait until their 25th anniversary, but I'll be in Australia for teacher's college next year.

Anyways, Im using expedia.ca to search for packages. I just find it weird how sometimes, to the same hotel, it's cheaper for a superior or deluxe room than for a standard room. I mean, its the same place and they're both beachfront, yet the 'better' room is cheaper? I just dont understand!

Also, is there a way to see if they would have access to 'everything'. I mean, its all-inclusive but sometimes I find that all-inclusive doesnt mean pool access for some reason.

Finally, what are your experiences when purchasing packages online? Is it safe? Would you recommend it? Have you ever been jipped?

My parents HATE when I spend money on them, but considering they've put me through school, bought me my car, will pay the 35,000$ for Australia, purchased all my European trips....its the least I can do as a thank you.

    Thanks guys!
