Yea...I live in Newark NJ and after the death of my friend this past weekend over in Irvington i'm out.

It seems they've done the whole LVPD but you Everytime I turn it on, I see a different Vegas cop. On Saturday, I saw a funny one in Vegas- some dude was jacking coins out of the fountain at one of the casino/hotels, can't remember which one. One cop caught the dude, gave him a warning and then an hour later the guy was busted by another cop at the same fountain, LOL

I always look for anybody named Matt on there so I can say- I kinda know that guy
LOL. Ya last week was Shawn in the fountain. This week it's Brandon and a robbery. I guess my stuff wasn't Vegas/exciting enough yet. Maybe in a few weeks...who knows!

Warm weather definitely gets the people of Chattanooga moving around at all hours of the day, and night. I love this time of year, but I'm always aware of my surroundings.

So I finally made it on the website for this Saturday's show. Who knows what sort of editing they will do and how they will make me look. I almost got run over by this truck so at least it's good.

                YES!

I saw that- that was nuts. You just hear the truck slamming into the fire hydrant in the background. You hustled pretty well there

Controversial but I think everyone from the GTA is well aware of it, man how Scarborough and Mississauga have changed since I was a kid!

But like other have said, no surprise in violence spikes during the summer, warmer and more hours of daylight mean more people are going to be out, more people interacting with a chance for friction.

I missed it. I was of all things...at work. My folks recorded it so I will watch it next time I go over there. My g/f watched it and a lot of the stuff I remember she said they cut out. I guess that's television for you!

I have a couple more that might make it on this season so I'll have to keep an eye out.

I think every city in America sees an increase in gun violence when temperatures rise. I live near Syracuse, and the lead flies more frequently here the higher the mercury climbs.

                      Stupid and senseless, but true.

Going between Detroit and Grand Rapids - the two worst crime citys in Michigan - I see alot of this stuff. Ovbiously much more in Detroit, but this weekend I actually didn't hear that much stuff about shootings or other violence. Meanwhile, there was 2 shootings in Grand Rapids, both in the wee hours (2 AM) of night, and drive by's.

Is it because of change of citizenship?? That's what my cousin says. Families uproot from one bad area and bring that mindset to another. That mindset grows and then influences those around to be on similar pages. Nowhere is safe. Lot of things are definitely telling us "something".......

That's part of it. You mostly have pockets of the GTA where you've got people with a bad mindset all living together which feeds negativity. Also Toronto is starting to have an organized crime/gang problem. Our mayor doesn't even have the balls to tackle the issues rather he's going on about how guns should be banned.

It's not the guns it's the people with the guns.

I didn't know that was Matt on Cops until I clicked on this thread.

I'm surprised you didn't drop a holy **** when that car crashed. What happened to that guy on the bike? He looked pretty out of it when you stopped him.

One of the ladies you questioned had a bunch of nasty scabs on her face. I was surprised one of the ladies started crying about how the incident would ruin her career. $5 that says those ladies are into drugs.

Does the Cops crew wear bulletproof vests? If I was on patrol, I wouldn't want a camera crew with me. What happens if a suspect pulls out a gun and starts shooting? I wouldn't want the burden of not only taking care of myself but also the crew from Cops.
