It's DC's Night off so I'm filling in for him.

Here's a list of ten signs that a man is being too needy.

Don't fall for the trap. Teach our youth that texting a girl immediately after making a phone call is equivalent to opening the door for her when walking into a restaurant. You can never give her the upper hand.

I also want to note that when the article mentions, "Challenging a woman" they mean you do it repeatedly until she cries and realizes that you are the one wearing pants. Because we all know that a girl that isn't crying is a girl thinking of ways to take advantage of your manhood.

Protect what's yours and tell her to start carrying a wallet if a purse is too much to handle.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

These types of articles puzzle me.

Why would a dude know what turns a woman off unless he's the guy who's been turning women off? He coached people? Color me unimpressed.

I always have this view on who to take advice from:

        1. If you're trying to get a female to come out her panties, you take advice from a guy.

        2. If you're trying to have a relationship, you take advice from a female.

So if you know this then which side are you on?

You'll be ballin' in no time, YankeePride!

                DC would be so proud!

Actually though, that's not a bad list. While I don't subscribe to the DC school of thought, I do agree that being spineless or borderline stalkerish isn't a good thing.

So I take it that you would take advice about getting off an addiction from someone that has never smoked BEFORE a former addict?

People that have failed time and time again are the most knowledgeable when it comes to what NOT to do.

It had your name all over it and when I didn't see it posted here I figured I should help you out.

To answer your question, I'm guilty of only one thing on that list and I only did it one time before I realized I was being needy, though, that wasn't my intention. I didn't even think of it until the third time and thought, "Holy crap, she's going to think I'm really desperate."

It actually taught me a lesson and it's why till this day I never chase. I give a girl one try. If I call you and you don't call me back then it's done.

Anyway, the crime was calling a girl like three times in one week. She wouldn't call me back and the number she left me was a home number. Honestly, I was thinking that maybe she didn't get the message and that her roommate might have killed the calls. But after the third try I realized what I was doing and left it alone.

I guess I was trying extra hard because this girl was 32 (I was 24 at the time...though she probably thought I was closer to her age) and she was HOT! Like crazy, crazy hot. She was a customer at Enterprise and everyone stopped just to see me help her out and rent a car. And she was actually the one that asked me out when she returned the vehicle.

Ah well, the one that got away taught me a valuable lesson.
