We had a dust storm, so...that was weird. There have been others in different parts of Illinois before but this was the first time in the city, apparently.

It's been a beautiful spring so far here in Denver, even some storms and rain which we can always use with how dry it is here. Pool opens this weekend in our neighborhood, ready for the beers and tank tops to become the daily loadout. Hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend!

Had some nasty straight line winds the other night, got the tornado warning, pretty scary clouds but was very mild on me. Road closures for downed lines and traffic lights for a day or two. Feels like we’re due for a nasty summer.

Despite this heat wave this weekend, I read a news article that listed the least air conditioned states in the USA. Vermont was number 5 with only 67% of homes with an AC of some kind. Maine was number 6 with 70% and New Hampshire number 10 with 78%. Alaska was number 1 of course with 7%. I thought it was crazy because it does get hot in Vermont and it is very humid.

also, I felt bad for a couple neighbors still using window fans in my building, not just because they're stuck with window fans as their only relief, but because they used them wrong. They have sliding windows, and have sliding window fans horizontal for some reason. Put those suckers vertical they lock in perfect

It's snowing a decent amount while the leaves haven't fallen yet.

So everything's covered in snow while the leaves have changed colours but not yet fallen. Seeing yellow and red trees also covered in snow looks weird.

But at the same time, as soon as all the snow melts in a few days everyone will be raking up leaves.

same here, we got about 3-5" of slop, I made bad decision to not clear off the car at night, chose instead to clear it today after it turned to chunk ice

When I was in HS, I had to park outside. It snowed while the leaves were falling, then the snow froze on my car. So I had leaves frozen to my car like it was a bizarro tar and feathering. I couldn't figure out why people were pointing and laughing as I drove

You guys in the States are lucky you have the PV and its cold blasts and can experience early snow and beautiful snowy winters. I'd rather have snowy days rather than this consistent rain in Northern England. We always have some snow in the winter but we're jealous looking the live cameras in USA.
