Barry Bonds or Terrell Owens?

Both players have had their share of problems and many fans don't like either of these guys. Bonds is considered a jerk and a cheater that would create a media circus if signed by a team. Terrell Owens is a cancer that destroys locker rooms. If you were a team owner (and I realize these are different sports), who would you sign if you had to pick one?

I'm going with Bonds. At this point he's not as productive as TO but TO just destroys locker rooms and is more of a cancer imo.

Bonds (when playing and in shape) is always nearly a .400 OPB, 1.00 OPS and usually delivers in the clutch. TO drops balls, upsets teammates and is too egocentric (or at least more than Bonds). If made to choose - Bonds.

Barry Bonds has more talent and can change an entire team's offensive output.

So yes, I want Bonds.

I'd have to go with Bonds just because he always changed the way pitchers would attack him and the hitters near him in the lineup.

As bad as TO is, he has never been arrested or testing positive for drugs or even accused of it.

Bonds because he would help my baseball team far more than Owens would help my football team.

The Braves main weakness is their outfielder's bats. The Saints main strength is their passing game. The Braves addressing their weakness with Bonds would make more of an impact than placing Owens in a passing offense that's already one of, if not the, best in the game.

Statistically, Bonds is off the charts. He gets on base at historic rates.

Obviously, a lot would also depend on your team. They both have baggage and you're going to have to deal with it (though Bonds' troubles are legal). But Bonds is the better player in his sport.
