Red Bull - Now w/less cocaine!

No. I didn't mean less caffiene.

Germany's Federal Institute for Risk Assessment said Monday that the cocaine level was too low to pose a health risk. It planned to produce a more detailed report Wednesday.
So if it is too low to pose a health risk, WHO CARES?

I love Red Bull. Don't drink it too much though.

        .4 micrograms per liter.

Sounds like too small an amount to really do anything, but I'm not an expert on the issue. Good marketing I guess haha...get 'em addicted.

Allow my friend Rick James to explain why one might care:

.4 micrograms per liter would require you to drink about 250,000 liters to get a cocaine high (about .1 gram for a new user). For an extended high for a new user, it'd require about 2,500,000 liters of Red Bull (a gram).

I think the Germans will live. This probably means someone dropped their 8 ball into the vat of a single batch more than they were using it to "hook" customers. There was probably more animal urine than cocaine.

I'm surprised the FDA hasn't done anything about it...I would assume the product sold here is the same in Germany but sometimes it is different - like Mountain Dew in USA is different than in Canada.

I believe in Canada, you can't add caffiene to soda, unless its dark colored.

                  I could be wrong though

That's nuckin' futs. Mountain Dew should make a special dark colored(/flavored?) version. They have every other color down...

I drank one once to see what the fuss was about. Those things are horrible. I don't see how people drink them.

Dude. Coca-Cola had cocaine in it. Where do you think the "Coca" comes from...

That's because most people, at least the club going people, don't drink them straight. I also tried to drink one, after not getting much sleep for a few days, and it tasted like bad medicine.

Maybe this is why all the "celebs" drink them, maybe they have extra cocaine in theirs.
