Haha, you right, Jeter. Sorry for getting OT, but one last thought: When I work out or play catch or shoot around, the playlist I use is mostly (old) Wayne.

I'm only 20, but I feel like I've grown up from that materialistic/gangsta rap. Stuff like, I got 20 lambos, 10 bathrooms in my house or I'll murder you if you cross me, etc, stuff most people will sing when they listen to that song, and most aren't about what they sing. They have like $45 in their bank account, they've never even seen a gun, like to use the n-word, etc. Songs like that fuel why people now think their tough/hard/gangsta, when in reality, you put most of them in Compton, or 5th ward Houston, and they'd be crying for their mommies in 5 seconds. That's pretty much what Wayne's about now: I can take your girl, I'll murder you, I got this, I got that, girls want me, blah, blah, blah.

Continuing on with this lol, We seem to agree. Weezy, Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, Jeezy etc. Are nothing but a push of mainstream music that is now what everyone listens to. So it worked. They knew people would buy into this, they knew people would try to act like their glorified rappers. Who can blame them? They just have to Dumb down their lyrics and do what their producers say and make a milli for saying stupid ish like "Bitchh I'm the Bomb like tick, tick", and everyone buys into it. One song by Lupe is filled with more metaphors,storyline, positive vibes, and intelligence then most rappers nowadays. T.I. said it best: "most Rappers today are comical"

I disagree with both of these. Voting is overrated, especially in the USA, where the large population makes a single vote insignificant. And regarding Ferrell, I would only say one of his movies is overrated (Anchorman). Most people think his movies are good for a couple laughs, and I think that they always deliver. Anchorman is only overrated because some people praise it unrealistically- it is still pretty darn funny.

Overrated- Cell Phones
Mine broke about 4 months ago, and I have been waiting to get an Iphone until the plan runs up on my old one (so I don't pay 2 plans at once). And I have to say it has been extremely liberating to live life w/ only a land line. When I go to study, I study. When I'm with somebody, I'm paying attention to them. The best part is I am forced to actually make plans before things actually happen, whereas before I would fly by the seat of my pants, and not end up wasting hours trying to 'figure out' what to do.

Underrated- Hydration
By that I mean staying hydrated. I think people would be shocked how much more energy they would have if they drank an extra litre of water everyday. By a reusable water bottle for $15 (you can use it for years) and your productivity and energy level will increase more than you would imagine, especially in the afternoon.

Tebow may be a bust in the NFL, but he had a great college run.
Never had a ferret, but a friend had one and it just kept getting lost.

Overrated: Blu-Ray. DVD movies look good enough.

Underrated: Survivor. Original and best reality show, still running strong.

Got to disagree with the Blu Ray thing. Blu Ray's are to DVD's as DVD's are to Video Tape.

Completely agree with Survivor though. I've watched almost every season and just recently purchased four of the season's on DVD (looks pretty crappy on DVD BTW). My girlfriend only watched the last three season's so, I wanted her to see some of the others. Anyways, we started watching the original All Stars last night and it's still good TV even though I already know the outcome. Plus, I can't wait for the new season!

Overrated: Mike Vick- Easily one of the most overrated QB's of all time.

Underrated: Diane Lane- I know she's older now but, a few years back she was smokin, IMO. Especially in Unfaithful and Jack.

I couldn't AGREE more on cell phones. I don't even carry mine on me anymore like 90% of the time. I treat it almost like a home phone. I leave it sitting on my dresser and when I get home I'll check to see if I have any calls or text messages and if I do I'll call them back if I think it's important enough. If not, I'll just go on about my business.

I agree with Vick he is a great athlete but not a great QB. His speed is amazing and he is a hell of a player and I like him but as a QB he is mediocre at best.

And also agree with your underrated in unfaithful she was sexy.


Overrated-Beer-I drink it from time to time but NEVER buy it. I don't like the taste of it and can't drink it every night in mass quantities like a lot of my friends. I just do not think it is good.

Underrated-Talib Kweli-Great rapper who raps with truth and quality. His best Album is Quality it is a classic.

I definitely agree on beer or any alcohol for that matter being overrated. I got drunk one time in my life and man... never again. Alcohol just doesn't do anything for me. And Talib is definitely underrated, period.

Overrated - Snow - I live in VA where we get snow maybe once or twice a year. Everybody gets so dang excited about it but I don't see why. Now, I can understand why kids love the snow because they seem to close the schools here for half an inch of freakin snow. But for adults like myself that have to drive back and forth to work.... it does nothing but causes problems. My coworker always gets excited when the weatherman predicts snow and then complains the next morning that she doesn't want to drive to work in it. Smh.

Underrated - Television Remote Control - Saturday night I lost the remote and Sunday may have very well been one of the worst days of my life. Unless I am watching a movie, chances are I am changing the station every five minutes (especially since I have NBA League Pass now) so not having the remote was killer. I got so frustrated after a few hours that I basically cleaned almost the entire apartment trying to locate the remote. My girl found the remote this morning in one of the cabinets in the kitchen. Of course I tried to blame her, but more than likely it was me lol.
