That is nuts Matt! I guess it is good, I would just feel strange if we "celebrated" it every month. Different strokes for different folks my friend

Mr. Matt10, the real question is who had the idea of the monthly anniversary!

Ahaha - all her man. At first we didn't think we'd do it every month, but it just got there somehow - and since then haven't really stopped, lol.

Wow. That is rough. But as long as you're cool with it...

My ex-fiance tried to pull that one on me and I put an end to that after the 1 year anniversary. Maybe that's why she's my ex.

Me and my gf used to do that for about 2 years. I didn't mind it.

Still waiting on my Christmas present.

I got her stuffed animal, flowers, chocolate, typical valentines day stuff. Made dinner which was amazing. I went the fondue route after eating at the melting pot earlier in the year. I tried to mirror their offerings.

Appetizer - Three cheese fondue (gruyer, emmantaler, and white vermont cheddar) with granny smith apples and french bread.

Main course - Coq au vin (Veggie broth, garlic, mushrooms, green onion, pinot noir) with shrimp, chicken, steak, and lobster tail. I made six homemade sauces to go along with it (tiger dill, creamy horseradish, teriyaki, my special honey mustard, remoulade, and spicy cocktail).

Dessert - Milk chocolate and cream with bananas, strawberries, and cheesecake.

                  She loved it.

Me and the wife had a great night. We went out around 5 p.m. and only had to wait 20 minutes for a table (it's been much worse on a Saturday night) Our bill wasn't too expensive either thanks to a gift card we had. Our waitress was great though, probably the best service I've ever had, and I tipped her more then I tipped anyone else before. When we left the line to get into the restaurant was out the door so I guess we got there at the perfect time.

Same thing we do every year since the first year we were together....takeout chinese food and a movie at home.

The first year we dated we tried to go out to eat on Valentine's day. Everything was a 2 hour wait. Lesson learned. Takeout chinese at home from now on.
