I guess the amber lamps. And the video. Is it just two guys fighting set to music or am I missing some inside joke? Old man with the beard landed some nice shots though.

What probably should have happened is Dayton (yes, I blame you!) giving a quick history on this entire ordeal.

I don't have time to find links right now, but my advice is to find the original footage of Epic Beard Man beating the crap out of the 50-Year-Old man.

Important things to look out for:

Epic Beard Man and his amazing shirt.
The mystery girl with purple on watching the entire ordeal with very little emotion or worry in the world. She has since been named "Amber Lamps" (more on that later).
The conversation - I recommend finding Epic Beard Man's explanation of how everything went down.
The comments made by bus riders before and during the fight.
The 50-year-olds comments at the end and when he asks for someone to "Bring Amber lamps."

Then watch the remixes: the Mortal Kombat and Punch Out are the best.

You've missed a lot but an hour in your day will catch you right up. (Really it takes about 30 minutes but you'll end up watching somethings more than once for comedic reasons).

Oh, yea, then go back into this thread and reread what people are saying. Once you're all caught up, you might also understand why the pictures of Amber Lamps are so funny.

Lol Sorry, yankeepride, that was far too much work on your part to explain something to simple old me. But I appreciate it though. Beard Man was a effin' beast though. And I love that Black Betty song, always thought it was a ZZ Top song for some reason.

Basically two trashy people get into an argument on a bus - and the old guy ends up beating down the younger guy and flipping out. Three of the things that I think helped make it were: the girl listening to her music and hardly reacting, the old guy's shirt (what it said), and that the guy who got beat down could hardly form a proper sentence or even say the world ambulance properly.

There have been other fight videos that never got nearly this popular, but this one seemed to have a charm to it.

Guy inadvertently created a whole new catch phrase that's going to be used for a long time coming. "Call da amba-lamps!"

"Bring Amber Lamps" is definitely going to be in one of those VH1 specials about the 2010's.
