Any wine drinkers on here? I need to get a gift for someone and they love wine. I don't drink it so I don't know one from another. They like red wine mostly. Can anybody recommend a good red wine in the $25-30 price range?

Madden brings out the worse in people

This reminds me of the Boondocks when there was a news report of someone being killed over a game of Madden 2005.

I've been in Online Dynasty's in NCAA
APF Leagues
2K BBall leagues

yet, the only league that has major issues and problems are the Madden leagues. I don't get it

I was an accounting major my Freshman year at Alabama. I was so bored in my 2 intro classes that Spring that I changed my major to broadcasting.

Lifetime has stepped their game up. HIMYM, American Pickers, and Pawn Starts ftw.

I know - I was surprised when I saw it on there. Pawn stars is an awesome show, it's amazing how much profit margin those guys get on things.

The new show on History which looks interesting is the lockers show where people buy the storage lockers that Americans don't pay rent/lose and then sell what's in it for $$$. One guy made $15,000 off of one locker!!

Speaking of football games...anyone else doing a dynasty on NCAA '11? I'm doing one with Indiana. I'm in year 5 and while I haven't even played for a national title, my program is one of the elite right now considering I've won 2 Big Ten titles. I win 10 or 11 games every season(either Michigan or OSU beats my *** every season..never fials). Usually go to either the Capital One or Rose Bowl.

However, recruiting is a bitch. I can't recruit a good corner or defensive tackle to save my life. My largest recruiting class(I've had 4 thus far)is 14. How the **** do you sign a big class? I need to build depth on defense if I'm ever going to win a national title.

Haha, if I had done school again, I would've done broadcasting...I actually worked in radio professionally but could never get into an actual real market because of no degree

I'm doing one with Toledo, they're good within the MAC but recruiting in that region with a MAC school sucks, thanks to all the Big 10 schools.

My semester is over as of this morning, had a final at 8 AM, knocked it out. So glad to be done for the next 3.5 weeks. This was definitely my toughest and most demanding semester yet, it also seemed like the longest semester ever.

I take it that's worked out well for you? I want to get into journalism or broadcasting, just not sure which one.

Your team sounds like mine. I'm using my teambuilder team (located in Erie Pennsylvania) that I took from C-USA to the Big Ten. I've won the Big Ten 1 out of 3 years. Penn State won the other two and they've become the dominant team in the Big Ten. The year I won it, I got cheated out of the title game becasue they took Fresno who was undefeated and let them climb 13 spots in two weeks (they were idle btw). So after I at number 3 beat ND who was #2, I was only #2 for a week and ended up losing the Rose bowl to USC.

Recruiting sucks for me as well. I can recruit offense, but right now my biggest class was 12. At this point Bama, ND, and Penn St. can just pick who they want and I can't do a damn thing about it. I have a great linebacking core though for one more year. The line is subpar but managable. However my best rated person in my secondary is a 67. My D is only ok because of transfers.

Same for me, my secondary is garbage. I haven't had a corner with a rating above 77 in 2 seasons. Due to this, the CPU passes all over me.

I don't think it would matter. Maybe this just happens to me but... I had a Dynasty in which I went from Kent State to Penn State after year 3. In the First year my secondary was good, about 20th or something in pass defense. But the next year, without any real talent drop off(at this point the only I only had game generated recruits at DB, still almost all rated in the 80's and 90's), I was 119th in pass defense. It just seems like generated recruits are all idiots on defense.

Same, Michigan's no huddle Spread gives me problems every year. I think all of our games have been decided by 4 points or less.

I don't feel bad for you Husker. I'm in year 10 in my Indiana dynasty and last season was my first Big 10 title, first BCS bowl appearance (I beat Cal in the Rose Bowl), and highest ranking #12.

I typically sign a lot of 3 guys and some 4 star guys. Now I'm signing a lot of 4 star guys and trying to recruit 5 stats.

Ohio State use to always kick my ***, but I beat them the last 2 seasons. Iowa is tough though, I've only beat them once and that was on a last second field goal to clinch the BigTen last season.
