After an initial search, it appears that there are Canes in Ohio, however it's in Columbus and I'm not going that far.Too Old To Game Club

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

if you're in Columbus, then it's probably nasty. In fact, i'm sure jmood can attest to that. The closer to Baton Rouge it is, the better it taste, and that's a proven fact. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Don't think I've ever had actual food from Dairy Queen. The one in my town is only ice cream and only open during the summer. There's full ones near me, but I don't think I've ever actually eaten there.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

I've never had Chick-fil-A before. But one just opened back home, it's in a mall though. Mall food is never good. I'm thinking about going next time I head home, what's the go-to thing to order?
As far as Canes, there's one in Boston but there's no way I'm heading into the city just for that.Comment

I have, but probably not for 20 years. All I ever get there now is ice cream, and that doesn't happen very often.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Ever since I got a LC pizza that was under cooked i never went back. I swear the dough was like it just had been tossed. It was trbl.
I had that big chalupa they've been ading, last night. Meh didn't live up to the hype and not nearly as stuffed as they make it look (of course like all ads)
In other news my boy went 1 for 3 with a put out and a hot shot to the cup on the mound today. He's not the best BB player but at least he likes to play.
Not sure if I was prouder of the hit he got or the fact that after he got smashed in the cup and doubled over he told the coach to not take him out! LOL.
He may suck at baseball but he's one tough SOB.Last edited by Chef Matt; 10-17-2010, 09:10 PM.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Off Topic 2010
Pretty much most fast food places are only good at one thing. Like buying chicken from a fish place like Sharks or Docks or J&J Fish tastes nasty. Just like buying fish from a chicken place tastes nasty.
I never did like Diary Queen for ANYTHING.
Subway sucks......get better and bigger subs from the corner market down the street for the same price.
When I am in the mood for burgers I just hit up Burger King, Wendy's or McDonalds, they all a block apart from each other. Mainly hit up Burger King though. My wife says McDonalds fries tastes like cardboard LOL.
When I want shrimp I just hit up Priice Choppers and they fry it up right then and there.
There are only 3 pizza places in this town, Dominos, Pizza Hut and some family own place. Family own place tastes like crap, Pizza Hut isn't consistent, so it is Dominos all the time now.
And omg all the chinese places out here suck. Be better off just buying the stuff from the store and cooking it yourself. They sell PF Chang and Innov in the grocery stores out here. Both taste good but Innov is flame, taste 10 times better. Had bought and cooked their General Sao's chicken last week, it was awesome.Comment

This is me and my middle boy at the A's Rangers game about a month ago. The ball was given to him persoanlly by Dallas Braden while I was up getting a beer with my clueless wife looking on in our seats. No we didn't get a signature. She didn't know who he was...S.M.H. Yes he's a boy, yes we think he'd be a great Tim lincecum for Halloween.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
