I am now the owner of a 3 legged cat. I found him in my backyard last night curled up on the deck in a chair. He's not 3 legged now, but he has a leg that just flops around. I took him to the emergency vet care last night and they told me that he appears to have been hit by a car.
On Monday he is going to have his leg amputated and then I will bring him home. I'm not a cat person, but there was no way in hell I could leave the guy out there in the world the way he is. I was afraid how Shiloh(my dog) was going to react, but he has done very well with him. He sniffs and wags his tail and they both laid curled up together in Shiloh's bed.
The only time Shiloh has growled is when the cat got near his dish. Didn't snap, but growled and the cat backed off.
I can say admittedly that I cried as I watched this little guy get around. Now...just gotta name him.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I like that.
My Dad wanted me to name him lefty(he's right from leg will be amputated). The lady at the vet wrote down miracle on the appointment notation for his upcoming surgery.
I tell you, I am truly not a cat person, but this little guy is growing on me. He is something else.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

My cousin took in a stray cat that had been injured once. It eventually ran away, but it was hiliarious while it was there. It had a gash on its head and I think that affected its coordination. I've never seen a cat fall down the stairs. It was also funny when he charged at his reflection at full speed out of no where one day.Originally posted by BlueNGoldComment
