Doesn't your insurance go up to even though you weren't the problem? It seems like that's true to an extent.

Yea I'm very thankful. I'm going to call him when I get off work. Thats what I'm afraid of even though it wasn't my fault, hell I was sleeping when it happened, I don't want my insurance to go up.

That's pretty cool!

Speaking of college athletics Simon Fraser University out in British Columbia is going to be the very first Canadian school in the NCAA. They start their first Division II football game Sept. 4.

I hope they don't embarrass themselves.

What D-3 schools draw that for attendance? That sounds more like the attendance figures for lower level FCS teams.

Did the menu have an shu value for them? I was at Quaker Steak & Lube the other night and looking at the menu they now have "Triple Atomic" wings which are listed as 500,000 shu ("Atomic" are 150,000 and my favorit "Louisiana Lickers" are 1100 or so) I just don't know how people can eat stuff that spicy. The "Louisiana Lickers" are right about the limit of how much spice my tongue can tolerate.

Pretty sure it's illegal to raise your rates simply for making a claim when there was NO chance it was your fault.

What an awkward transition on SportsCenter. They interview someone about his article on players on the Vikings saying Brett Favre hates Childress, then right after that interview they go into a small segment about a bull jumping into a crowd and charging at people in Spain, then they go to Dusty Baker getting an extension.

[If I'm not mistakend] If your car is totalled by a deer, one's rates go up and that's not anyone's fault but Bambi's.

In a single car accident the presumption is the fault lies with the driver. You can contest the rate hike with the Insurance Company but it will likely be a losing effort as they'll simply contend you weren't driving carefully enough. Ours went up when I had a SVA when the rear wheels of an AWD vehicle spun incorrectly for the conditions and sent me into a spin. I'd say not my fault as I was driving slower than every other car on the road but nonetheless Commerce Insurance said screw you MassNole.

Depends on if your state considers it an "act of God, or nature". I know in Michigan it is considered one. Probably in Minnesota too. There's so many of them running around here, it's only fair.

Yeah, if you're driving, all bets are off. His car was parked. They cannot raise your rates if you file a claim in which you are not driving and the car is parked properly. What I'm saying is it is illegal for the insurance company to give "he filed a claim" as the reason for a rate increase.

Which brings up this point: NEVER admit fault to ANY insurance company EVER.
