I wear my stirrups and red shoes to Cardinal games. If it's nice out, people will get to see my stirrups because I'll wear shorts. If it's too cold, they don't, but I still wear them. I've worn them to every game I've attended since I've got them, even the World Series.

Actually, there are more Cardinal fans wearing stirrups to games now. I saw two others wearing them during game 7 last year and more fans started doing it when Jon Jay and Daniel Descalso started doing #highsocksundays. Many fans wear red shoes to the games also. One of the tour guides at the stadium told us that she wears her red shoes to every game because her father wore red shoes to the game. When she was little, she thought it was very silly. After he past though, she and the rest of her family started to do the same.

In addition to my stirrups, I always get a bacon wrapped hot dog at every game I go to. (Unless, of course, I went to Pappy's beforehand.) The cook even recognizes me when I come up to order.

I have a lot of quirks, but I unfortunately can't really think of them right now lol. I don't really notice them.

One that's gotten really bad lately is that with my curly hair, whenever I'm not doing something with my hands, I'm grabbing my hair on the back of my head for some reason lol. One of the few benefits of getting my hair cut short is that it's short enough that I can't do that and it forces me to be a normal person lol.

One thing that the guys I play basketball or football with probably get annoyed with is that I like to lick my hands basically any time I miss a couple shots in a row or drop a pass or something.

And two quirks that I know annoy my girlfriend is that I whistle almost constantly when we're in the car, and I whistle with my mouth open (hard to really describe but a lot of people think it's the weirdest thing ever lol). And whenever I yawn, I exaggerate the sound really bad and make it sound like Chewbacca or try to say a sentence while yawning or just make it ridiculously loud. That one REALLY gets on her nerves lol.

I am by no means a serious coin collector, but I look at the dates on all of the coins I get. Once I got a 1928 penny from Taco Bell. It could have been the last of somebody's savings during the Depression.

I check my door and car locks several times to make sure they are locked.

I carry my wallet in the front pocket of my pants instead of the back pocket because I'm afraid it will slip out if I sit down anywhere.

I walk up and down stairs 2 at a time instead of 1 step at a time.

And one thing my wife hates is that I MUST sleep untouched. My wife likes to snuggle in bed like I'm sure most wives do. But when it's time to actually fall asleep, I must be left alone. I cannot sleep if she has her head draped across my stretched out arm. I can't lay on my side and be spooned. I need my space. Don't know why, I just do.

I find that I chew on my shirt collar (t shirt only) when im laying down on my back and watching tv or on a laptop.

Similar thing with headphone strings, and pens. its not like chew with force like Im eating a tough piece of jerky. more like a teething toddler. They call it an oral fixation.

I chew on headphone strings and pens as well. I also have a really bad habit of chewing erasers off pencils (though I've kind of stopped doing that one recently) and the standard fingernail biting.

I do the last 3 on that list. I fail to see in what world it is alright in that a light switch in the up position can be considered off.

You'd hate the light switch in the bathroom at my house then... my dad put it in backward so instead of being an On-Off switch, it is instead a Ffo-No switch, and it's on when in the downward position. Messes with my head, man.

Tell me about it... there will be times when I go in there, and despite the fact that the light will already be on, I think, "Oh, I need to flip the light switch up to turn the light on." and then I do, and then I realize that, oh, up=off...

I time myself when urinating for some reason. I just start counting in my head to see how long my stream is.

I chew on the collars of my shirts. I think I get it from my dad but I do it sometimes when I'm stressed or in the zone.

I also constantly crack either my knuckles, ankle, or neck.

I always turn the fan on when I use the bathroom for anything outside of urination. #2s, showers, shaving, etc.

Sometimes when I walk on a tile with a pattern I make step on the same colored squares. Like if it goes green/white/green/white I'll only step on the green tiles. It's not something that I have to do though.

I do that as well.. I also avoid stepping on lines/cracks while I'm walking if I can. I carried that over from my baseball days.. never stepped on the foul line before/after the game and between innings.

I try to find patterns in everything. The place that I used to work had abstract carpeting, but I found a spot near my desk that had a distinct pattern. So I always hung out there on breaks so I could look at the pattern.

I usually eat even numbers worth of food.

When ever I have a bag of cookies, I always get out 3 at a time.

When I am walking i will press up against my back pocket where my wallet is to make sure it hasn't fallen out.

I will pull out my wallet constantly to check to make sure all my debit/credit cards, and my license didn't just magically jump out.

If I were you, I would have taken a screwdriver to that thing and flipped it into its proper position a long time ago.
