My mom graduated with Sid Haig. Hella cool guy, but I was scared to meet him as a kid. Until he told me about his time on the Batman show. After that he was my favorite of my mom's friends. but damn he was tough looking.

Never went to school with anyone semi-famous. The most known person to graduate from my school is Aaron Fultz. (a mediocre MLB RP)

I've seen Jerry "The King" Lawler more times than ive seen my grandparents.

I did see Carmelo Anthony and Kenyon Martin in Walgreens a few years ago when the Nuggets were in town.

My sister dated Kurt Wermers for over a year in high school. He used to be a QB I think (can't remember), but he broke his neck or something and had to switch to OL.

He signed to Michigan, but recently transferred to Ball State.

Other than that,

my dad sold Carlton Fisk a hamburger
I met Joe Gibbs
and my Grandma owned Dick Butkus' old house. I still can't believe that one.

Oh, I lived in the Helena, AR for a good while, home of former Rice/Clemsom/Arkansas/Air Force head coach Ken Hatfield. For a little while I went to church with his mom.

i often used to go into deep groves, a record shop in st. louis. the owner, lance robertson, is now more popularly known as dj lance rock for those with little gabba gabbers.

my dad is a vascular echo tech and for years did all the echos on the players during the combine in indianapolis

I forgot a couple others...I sold tractor trailers to a guy whose cousin is Emily Proctor, the lady that plays Calliegh Duquense from CSI Miami and at the same job I met the guy who hit Geraldo with the chair several times - he's a tire guy.

I don't think I know anyone famous. I thought one of my best friends from childhood would make it someday -- perhaps he still will -- in the music/entertainment business. Incredibly talented and knows how to charm people. We haven't talked in a while, but last I knew he was working in NYC doing commercial composing and still playing with his group, Lifetime Guarantee.

One of my wife's friends from her hometown is an actress named Allison McAtee. Talked to her a few times at various gatherings of their group of friends... very nice, down to earth, all that stuff.

I'm hoping he gets drafted or something so I'll have one of these stories, but I've been friends with UConn's starting kicker since I was a little kid. Used to play soccer with him, his dad was our coach and was a rather strict, demanding guy that kept him working and training any moment he could. He (still) lives up the road from me and had a pool so I used to go over there during the summer.

Donovan McNabb - played high school football against him in the state playoffs 2 years straight. Sacked him 3 times in one game and intercepted him twice in another.

Common - my oldest sister friend

Twista - went to high school with my other sister and use to play alley ball with him

Crucial Conflict - grew up with them

Kanye - use to see him on the red line all the time with my cousin. They were friends since forever.

Quentin Richardson - played ball with him at the park when he was still at Whitney Young high school.

Keanu Reeves - dated his cousin for 3 years

Pierre Thomas - his dad and my dad are friends and were co-workers

Jerry Rice - dated my aunt in college and still comes to some family functions all these decades later. I grew up with his niece and went to school with her throughout elementry and high school. Still are friends today.
