    Re: East coast Earthquake

I thought it was the people upstairs until the whole building was shaking. I just sat here like an idiot because I couldn't believe it was actually happening.

Felt it in NC. Sounds like most of the east coast felt it.

Guess I can check that one off the bucket list

Yeah I'm out here in Newport News, VA. At first I thought it was my imagination until my fan fell on me lol. Thankfully, no one I know was hurt. But I am having trouble making phone calls now.

Hope that wasnt a precursor to a monster.

My grandmother is in shock right now. She survived the Quakes in Haiti. She's standing in the middle of the street away from all buildings.

NC and definitely felt it. I was lying in bed waking up and I thought either my wife had the dryer going or a helicopter was right over my house. My wife told me the dryer wasn't running so I figured it was an earthquake. No biggie, we had one about 15 years ago where my house is, although this one was worse.

                      Whoa....

Well obviously they didn't build it with earthquake proofing in mind.

I thought it was a train passing by my office. Until there was no train.

I was in a third floor office building just off VT's campus.

I felt like a large truck ran right into our building. Something slightly unnerving about the ground moving below your feet.
