Worst sporting injury you've ever had?

I got hit with a fastball in the hand and it fracture my hand I couldn't my grip for a few days after that is was terrible doing everything left handed.

What about you guys?

Eeeek that's bad. My girlfriend's little, er younger....dude is a giant, brother had that happen to him his senior year. It was terrible he probably could have got a scholarship.

Broken collarbone playing high school ball.

Football: Concussion
Basketball: Sprained ankle
Wrestling: Pulled groin muscle

I've had about two of those inside of sports, one out. I suffered from PCS on my last one, they aren't fun at all.

I've had three, and the last one I had actually left me with a hairline fracture in the front of my skull as well. Was messing around in the playground in like 5th grade, got pushed while running full speed, and went forehead first into the steel pole that was holding up the fence. I still have a bump on my head to this day from that one.

I have an injury story to share. I played baseball from the time I was 5 through college. For several years my throwing shoulder was killing me. Eventually late in high school I went to see what was supposed to be a sports specialist doctor. He told me it looked like over use syndrom and said that I should.......................wait for it.........................wait for it...

Similar to King. I played baseball in college (pitcher) and threw too much my junior year (160+ innings combined in the spring and summer). Started feeling discomfort halfway through the summer and shut it down. Got an MRI that showed a small tear in my labrum and decided on surgery.

The doctors ended up having to cut my biceps tendon and attach it lower on my pectoral muscle and cleaned up a lot of damage to my labrum and rotator cuff that they didn't see on the MRI.

Over 3 years after surgery and I still can't throw a baseball more than 90 feet without pain.

Also separated my left shoulder twice this winter learning how to snowboard. The first time was in early January, caught a toe edge and fell right on top of my left shoulder going pretty fast. Ended up making a few more runs, but I couldn't lift my arm the next day. Took 2 months off before I went again and on my first run I did the same thing. My collar bone sticks out a little more on my left shoulder than my right because my humerus is still slightly separated I think but it doesn't hurt at all anymore.

I broke both bones in my forearm so badly that it appeared as if I had two elbows (the bones didn't break out of the skin but the doctor at the hospital had to set the bones three times they were so bad), had a full-arm cast and had to sleep with my arm raised in a sock-on-a-coat-rack contraption.

Suffered a high ankle sprain while playing rugby 3 weeks ago. First time in my sports career i had to be taken out of the game due to injury.

I strained my back senior year of high school football. I still get nagged by it a lot three years later.

I also sprained my knee on the last day of football tryouts in 9th grade so I couldn't play that year.

Fractured both bones in my right forearm skating a halfpipe. The fracture was so high up on forearm they had to run the cast above my elbow. Casting and rehab took so long I missed my freshman year of baseball. They ended up not setting my arm completely straight so it's got a slight curve to it. Really added some movement to my pitches but I lost velocity for sure.
