I'm with ya dude.
My girl got some workout video, and we started it last night. Must admit, it felt super cheesey working out to a video (all I can think of is Tae Bo
). But I haven't done physical activity in a while thanks to my knee (no pickup basketball or football, though when everyone gets home from school in the summer we do play pickup hockey). My biggest workout was my job, which I must say has me speedwalking probably miles a night, but still.Doing the abs and some light lifting exercises. I couldn't stretch the quads/hamstrings quite as well as I wanted to because of my knee and it's likely lack and/or deterioration of the ligaments within, so after a little bit of that I had to sit out for fear my knee would just give out. It felt good to "feel the burn," though. I'm a naturally slender dude, never had a problem with weight, but I want to get back into some form of shape and maybe develop a bit of muscle. Though for my frame, and my lack of working out pretty much ever, I somehow have been blessed with a decent looking form.
