So I thought the last patch was supposed to fix the horrendous CPU playcalling in NCAA 13? Just played a game and that horrendous playcalling was pretty much the only reason I won.
1. Early in the game I (Pitt) was down 6-0 to UConn and they had a 4th & 1 on my 25. Instead of kicking the FG (their kicker had already made 2, one of which was longer than this attempt would've been), they went for it and I prompty stopped them then marched down the field to score a TD and take a 7-6 lead
2. Later I was trailing 16-7 and they scored another TD to go up 22-7 but for whatever reason decided to go for 2 and I stopped them. leaving me behind by 15 points, or 2 TD + 1 2 pt conversion. Had they just kicked the PAT it would've been a 16 point lead and I would've needed 2 TD's + 2 2 point conversions.
I scored on my next drive and kicked the PAT to make it 22-14 then stopped them and got the ball back and scored on an 84 yard pass to make it 22-20. I went for 2 and initially made it, but got called for holding (go figure) then their defender knocked my pass attempt down in the endzone. Being as there was still about 2:30 left and I had all 3 timeouts I kicked deep hoping I could stop them.
3. 1st down they do a run and I stop them for a short loss and quickly call my 1st TO. On 2nd down they PASS and I intercept it so I had the ball with about 2:0 left and 2 timousts on their 45 yard line. I proceed to march the ball down the field and kick the game winning FG with 0:004 left and won 23-22.
