Man my life is crap right now. Living paycheck to paycheck, can't find a second job, don't have a car because the other insurance company is dragging their feet, some of my friends are starting to ignore me, all my FWB are in a relationship, and the girl I was talking to that was so perfect was apparently talking to some other guy at the same time and as of today, they're dating.

Oh well.

Man I feel like we're living parallel lives. My situation is pretty much the same, barely making enough money week to week, seems like after I pay my Cable, and Electric I'm right where I started, then spend the next 2 weeks making up enough just to pay the next round of bills. Can't afford a new Car + Insurance yet so I'm catching rides to work with my Dad and occasionally a co-worker. Really nothing on the horizon as far as Females are concerned, I just started talking to this one girl but I don't feel like we know each other well enough just yet to start up anything. Maybe if I can get a few more opportunities.

Just feel like I'm going No where.

Cheer up guys, you still have your OS friends. Read posts, crack jokes, vent, be entertained.....that is what OS is for. Everybody fall on hard times from time to time. Once you make it out of your rut, you will truly appreciate your new found success.

tito's vodka is bomb. it's the only liquor i've had that i actually enjoy taking shots of. some people call this shooting. it doesn't have any flavor or any smell, and the vodka burn is barely noticeable. this stuff is pretty damn good.

I'm 6'4 and it's not comfortable at all. My knees lock up pretty bad after about an hour.

Yeah I agree, I use the Internet a lot of the time to escape the stresses of the real world. After a long day at work I just kick back, relax load up OS, some Youtube videos, listen to music.

I think some times I can spend a little too much time on the Computer though, I have to start making more of an effort to use my free time to brainstorm ways I can make more income, and start planning, studying to go back to School.

Just wanted to point out that whenever you guy talk about "the bots", I picture a village of scared peasants cowering in fear in front of kitchen/household appliances

Man this was a weird week. First, the Clackamas Shooting (I live close to there,) than 5 schools in my area (a High school, Middle, and 3 elementary) had to go lockdown because someone found a gun in the high school (I'm in a rival high school, but I wasn't effected), and now the Connecticut shooting. All within a school week basically. RIP to those who died in the shootings though, and I hope those kids in the area of Connecticut shootings can try to put this behind them (even though it basically hard,) and focus about Christmas or what ever holiday. Man, weird week for Guns... (For me)

I prefer Slacker over Pandora. It's 8 million songs vs Pandora's 900k let's me find more new music I like.

Pandora - I like the interface and service works well, music selection is limited so you hear the same songs A LOT

Slacker - Hated the interface, the service was slow, would often pause between songs

Spotify - Don't like that it's not browser based, works very similar to Pandora for the radio, has a lot of ads, song selection is better than Pandora

I'd give the nod to Spotify, with Pandora second, I found Slacker to be too glitchy.

Hey guys, serious question. How much "usually" is it to get anti depressants? I been having pretty bad thoughts and such and I am starting to scare myself. Think it's about time to see someone about it but $$$$ is not in my side.....

It's effecting my sleep a lot, I just lay there thinking about so much crap then my dreams are worse.

It's effecting my sleep a lot, I just lay there thinking about so much crap then my dreams are worse.

Get ensured, either through work or see if your parents can get you ensured and see a Specialist. If you don't feel right don't take the chance especially if you might end up hurting yourself, or someone else down the line.

If you have insurance you shouldn't have to pay that much, if you don't you are pretty much screwed. Definitely seek help though man if you think you need it.

Go to psychologist offices that use graduate students. They're very cheap since it's part of their graduate work.

Well I got a couple of things I am going to try out first. Going to try to start reading a book or getting into something complex like a puzzle or game that keeps my mind busy. Some people I know said that should help.

Also, I think I slept for an hour tops on that plane ride. Just couldn't find a comfortable position. Either my back hurt or my neck hurt. I'm really looking forward to sleeping in a real bed... whenever that'll happen.
