Re: A troubling 36 hours
Major update:
They woke mom up on wednesday, she was groggy but talking to us. Yesterday she looked a lot better. She was sitting up in the chair, and just looked a lot better. She still is in the ICU, and there are other things they are still concerned about, so I am still worried, but I am feeling a bit relieved, and a lot happier now that she is doing better.Comment

Re: A troubling 36 hours
Well, almost 2 years later and a bout with cancer, and my mom is laying here on her deathbed unresponsive. They are at the point where they are trying to make her comfortable but she looks anything but. I am grateful for the extra time I was able to spend with her. But the doctors say she will be gone anywhere from a few hours to a few days from now. I am a little more prepared than I was a couple years ago. And while you are never "ready" to lose your mom. I have come to terms with it and can accept it. I am just greatful to have these extra 2 years. Thank all you guys for your prayers and thoughts.Comment
