I don't even feel anything from the caffeine. I just love it.

Sodastream flavors just don't cut it, but I do like having carbonated water whenever I want.

When I was a kid, I used to drink 3 or 4 regular sodas a day. I switched to diet soda in 8th or 9th grade and I still don't prefer it over regular (and yes, I know it's as bad or worse for you than regular) but it works. Diet Dr. Pepper is very similar to regular, and Coke Zero has emerged as a favorite of mine even if regular Coke products are disgusting as hell.

Most of the soda we drink doesn't have caffeine... but I could never do a Diet Soda.

That's where you lose me. If all soda switched to diet, then I'd quit drinking.

Yes, yes I will.

Same thing with smoking. It's a daily battle. Wish I never smoked before.

I've managed to get myself down to like 4-5 smokes a day, I'm content with being a "light" smoker but can't imagine quitting altogether.

I was that way with chewing. This past July I quit chewing and went through hardcore withdrawals. I couldn't go without. It was a struggle. Right when I got over it, I went to visit a couple friends at a different school in late September and went through 2 tins over like 36 hours. And went back to my withdrawals. But now I'm fine. I just feel naked without something in my lip. I'm always poking around with my tongue.

I was sitting in the living room playing Outlast and I had the sound up pretty loud. I thought I heard something outside my front door, but when I muted my sound, I didn't hear anything. A minute later I heard the sound again, or at least what I thought I heard. I once again muted the game and nothing.

Played for about another 30 minutes and heard it again. I ran to the window, looked out the blinds and nothing. Decided to open the door and saw this on the wall outside beside the door.

I enhanced it a bit with a filter. But it was clear as what it was without the filter.

Is this the same house that you talked about last year?

Gave up soda for all of 2013, outside of a root beer float on the 4th of July, didn't have any.

2014...there have been 48 days this year...that's how many days I've had soda.

Agreed.

Soda is one thing I will never give up. There's just absolutely no reason for me to, and I enjoy it way too much.

I've tried several times to start drinking Diet Dr Pepper, but I can always taste that diet aftertaste. I guess my taste buds are just very sensitive to certain things (probably the same reason why I find alcoholic beverages disgusting). I guess it makes sense though since 3 of my other senses don't work very well and they say that if you have 1 or more diminished senses, your remaining senses will become enhanced.

I didn't realize how different the
SEGA and SNES versions of Aladdin were. We had a SEGA growing up and I never really connected to the gaming loop until the second half of Xbox/PS2 days. Having only played Aladdin on Genesis I was really scratching my head while playing the SNES version this weekend. I guess all third party games being essentially equal since I can really remember didn't fully prepare me for the same title being drastically different across consoles. Kids today would have a fit.
