That's what I'm saying. He sets the rule, but she lets him do it and enforce it. Sounds like a very healthy relationship...
There are some parameters that need to be set in a relationship, not allowing your s/o to talk to her/his friends is crossing that line.
Is there a good reason why he doesn't want you talking to his girl? Some kinda history there? In that case I couldn't blame him as much, but he also has to trust his girl to not cross the line if you guys did have a thing before.
That sucks though. Right now it's not about what's gone on before, it's about being there for her and her newborn child. It's not cool you're being blocked off from sharing that moment with her if that's your only intention.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

I know a good number of couples where the man don't allow the woman to have male friends or do anything without the man's permission. And most of the time, it is simply them following their belief system. So being they were brought up in that system, they don't see anything wrong with it at all.Comment

The only way I can say that is the right way to go about it is if these other dudes are thirsty as **** and fiending for a taste of your girl. In that case, you're protecting her from being taken advantage of. If the other guys intentions are innocent, then that just makes the boyfriend/husband a control freak and that's not a good look. At least it wouldn't work for me. There's certain boundaries in a relationship, but when you start telling your partner they can't do something, it's overstepping. No one wants to be told what they can and can't do. It'll lead to resentment and likely the thing you're preventing them from doing. Tons of relationships/marriages like this particularly around here with the religious sect.
We have this secretary/bookkeeping working for us for the Summer that had previously worked here. She quit because her husband didn't think she was spending enough time raising their daughter and taking care of the house.
Fast forward to this week and she is really a great worker. She doesn't like leaving things unfinished so sometimes she doesn't leave precisely on time. Yesterday she was a little bit behind and my boss made the comment, "You better leave or Todd won't let you come back and play next week."

But they haven't. Like I said, he was missing for half of the pregnancy and before that they were on again off-again. If I remember correctly, she found out she was pregnant while they were fighting. Also, the "no talking to other guys" thing came around August.
There's no history, physically. If anything, I sort of friendzoned her in the beginning. I know I'm a few days behind, but videos like this piss me off so much. "If you read a book, paint, something something, you're being productive"... I hate this argument. What if someone's writing code or reading an e-book? Use of digital platforms doesn't equal laziness. Also, the camera he recorded on, the platform he uploaded to, the software he used to make it... were all developed by people spending lots of time on computers. **** this guy who made this video.Comment
