Re: Off Topic 2014
Yeah drive-thru Starbucks aren't super uncommon. I haven't seen too many, but definitely a few.
I've also seen a drive-thru Baskin. And a drive-thru McDonalds, that was the craziest.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2014
Its not something Ive ever seen in the city. I would guess we have them in Long Island and Upstate. I'd be shocked if they had one in Manhattan. I have seen one drive thru Dunkin Donuts in Brooklyn though. In retrospect I dont think I can think of any Starbucks in Brooklyn. Im sure they're littered all throughout hipster *** Williamsburg though.
Wait, drive thru McDonalds is a rare thing in california?
Edit: to be clear Ive seen Starbucks in the city just not Drive Thru Starbucks. Tracer makes me feel like I didnt communicate that right lol.Last edited by kingkilla56; 01-29-2014, 02:53 PM.Comment

Not understanding the difference between snow and ice is a people issue as well. Pretty much anyone can drive on snow, but I love to see some of you take a 2 wheel drive and drive around on something like this.

Re: Off Topic 2014
Drive Thru Liquor Stores aren't that uncommon though.
Got a couple of them scattered around the DC/MD Line. You definitely see them moreso in the urban areas than the Suburbs though. At least in my experience.
I also don't really understand how a city can't at least be somewhat prepared for certain weather events. Especially with how crazy the Weather is nowadays.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Off Topic 2014
I like it cool overnight but nice n toasty during the day. Getting up the other day to a 59 degree apartment (while the heat was on all night) was not pleasant. I ended up doing what you're not supposed to do, I used the oven to bump the temp up few degrees

That's what the roads have looked like here almost everyday for the past 2 months. My car is rear wheel drive and I have no problem navigating icy roads. It's less about the vehicle and more about the driver.
Also I don't ever post in OT, but I've found the past few pages to be rather entertaining.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

A bunch of drivers who arent used to driving on ice should instantly know how its done!
A city that never has to deal with black ice should have salt trucks on standby at all times!Comment

Oh I know. Just pointing out that with the vast amount there are up here. I can walk to more than two Starbucks easily. Most are across the street from each other. Its not something Ive ever seen in the city. I would guess we have them in Long Island and Upstate. I'd be shocked if they had one in Manhattan.
