    Any recommendations for an alternative to Shakeology? Just a meal replacement shake.

    Got P90X3 for my birthday so I figured I would start eating healthy and all that fun stuff too.

      I would just do a protein shake...Maybe do your protein powder, strawberries, bananas...

      Starting Week 3 of 12 of the Workout Program today....I've lost around 7 lbs and my fianceé has lost 3 lbs so far...

          Well damn, I had pain in my upper sternum area and found out today I've injured my sternum cartilage. The pain is going away but the worst part is that I won't be able to do heavy bench for several months. The dr said after the pain goes away wait another week and then I can start light weight high rep bench. He said it takes a long time to completely heal. Oh well guess this is a good time to really focus on form.

            Off to a slower-than-desired start to the year. I was starting to get it going two weeks ago but then the weather hit and I used that as an excuse to slack off.

            I did run three miles last night and felt reasonably good afterward. And I've drunk twice as much water as coke this week, which is always good for me.

              What are some good alternatives to diet soda?

              I only drink it with lunch & dinner. Outside of that I drink water. I drink about 8-10 16.9 oz bottles of water a day. The problem is I need something with flavor when I'm eating.

              I google searched some alternatives and most of the suggestions I would put in the "are you kidding me?" category by being impossible to get at a restaurant or needing me to go through a 4 step process to create the drink.

              I'm looking for something readily available at restaurants/easy to stock in the house.

                  Tea. You can get your caffeine fix if that is the reason why you over consume diet sodas. Mio as well if you are wanting something with sweet flavors. They also make an energy version that has caffeine in it.

                  For when you are at home look at the grocery store for Sparkling Ice. 0 calories and 20% of your B vitamins for the day in addition to tasting pretty dang good for having no sugar (I like the black raspberry and peach). It's carbonated too.

                    I have always seemed to have problems with my left calf and foot. If something feels tight or strained after a workout its always the left calf and foot so it's something that's up with my leg.

                    As far as my calf though. Should I use a compression sleeve or something like Rock Tape to help alleviate the problem?

                      Do you do a fare amount of stretching before you workout?

                          Got in a good 5-mile run today. Tomorrow I go to the gym for the first time in a couple of weeks; developed an ulcer and couldn't train. It's my fault, as I need to find better ways to handle/manage my stress. I am probably going to start journaling again, just to give myself an outlet, and also to put down some creative ideas that pop in my head.

                          Mental health goes hand-in-hand with physical health.

                            All my friends say I eat like a pig lol but I gain no weight.

                            I eat fairly healthy . How often should I lift ?

                              How much protein are you taking in and how much do you weigh? You should have 1 gram of protein per lb you weigh...

                                Weight 135 barely 5'10 and I'm 21.
