I found The Show on PS4 to be somewhat of a letdown. Still a great game of baseball, but needed to do more for me to consist it tops on next generation consoles. Carrying. over issues such as a nearly unplayable online mode don't help either.

NBA 2K and Madden would be tied at the top for me. Yet to play FIFA 15 unfortunately. That should change soon though.

I'd like to say FIFA but I haven't had a chance to play an actual game of it because of the ridiculous stuttering issue the game has.

So I 'd have to go 2K by default since that's the only other game I have aside from FIFA.

I actually haven't played a Next Gen sports title (this year) that I haven't enjoyed. The Show, EA UFC, Madden 15 and NBA 2K15 have pretty much turned me back into a sports game only player.

Of those four (I don't play FIFA) each of them have their own set of issues, but none that I really deem game breaking really. I would rate them

1) NBA 2K15
2) Madden 15
3) EA UFC
4) The Show

I think that may be the best of them all but as a Bundesliga player with no option files, I don't know if I can handle the editing or a generic game.

I felt MLB 14 was the best sports game out of Madden 25, and just ahead of NBA 2K14 and Fifa 14.

However, I'm sure the folks at SCEA will step up to the plate next year because at the moment, NBA 2K15 is the best sports game I've played. Madden 15 is the best football game and ahead of the Show, and PES 15 sounds very good and I can't wait to get my hands on it come November. NHL 15 maybe a purchase 2nd hand since I'm hearing good things on their recent patch.

As for Fifa? My respond will be the same response they gave us new generation players regarding the release of World Cup 14.

Madden is alright

NBA 2K will be amazing if they patch it to fix some things. As of right now it's okay offline but there are some issues that really hold it back for me.

MLB The Show is still the #1 sports game I've played.

After these last couple of updates and tuner updates, it's pretty much has the best gameplay of any sports title I have ever played. A true organic feel. I have been playing it consistently since it came out, and I'm still seeing different types of goals being scored.

Yes, it's stripped down pretty good, but for a first-year title on a new system, it really brings the noise.

Your side of gameplay...yes.....it's great.
But the hideous CPU teammate play almost completely erases that IMO.

As for the topic at hand, I would vote for FIFA even though I still haven't picked it up. I have NBA 2k15 but as mentioned earlier there is a handful of things just holding that game back. I skipped Madden as I've been frustrated with that series.

I am still playing the Show with Golf Club mixed in. Oh and as Phobia said, UFC is damn good. Better game now, and almost completely different game, then when it released. If you like the UFC, fighting, or are into bullying, pick it up.
