As far as peanut dust, yes. My own little made up rule is if I can smell it, it is threatening. Thankfully, something like a ballpark has enough of an open air environment that it is non-affecting. Then again, I haven't ever really sat by a group of people just eating a bunch of peanuts.
There are just other things I have to be careful of as well, though. Coming into contact with peanut-contaminated products (and yes, I get to use the word contaminated to describe it haha) shouldn't be a bother in a way that it could like seep into my skin... at least I don't think... but what if I start eating other food thereafter? What if I rub my eyes afterward? Things like that also make it a heavy issue.
Many people have a peanut allergy, though some are more severe than others. At the time when I was blood-tested again around 12 years old, my allergist said that in her "32 years of testing for peanut allergies, [she had] never seen one more severe than [mine]." I guess I'm just that lucky kind of breed.
