The biggest surprise I saw and capitlized on. Marvell Wynne with shadow chem. On Friday night some were selling for 900k. I sold one off I bought for 300k profit on Saturday night. By yesterday though the market was flooded with them and they were for 200-250k.

Me too, glad I hit the million mark when I did and didn't invest it this morning. Even though I have another what-would-have-been 800k on my transfer list.

We'll see what the ranges are and how bad of a loss we take.

Here is more on the matter. From twitter account.

Ranges will be based on analysis of past & recent FUT 15 market prices, and wide enough to enjoy trading.

The people on Playstation get royally screwed by these new prices as a lot of players were going for 1.5-2 times as much as these new prices.

I just bought TIF Robben not to long ago for 9 million as an investment and he was going for close to 11 million recently but now it's worth 4-6 million

Prices are up now up on futhead and futwiz if anyone wants to know.

The thing I hate most though about this update is it pretty much eliminates the fun out of trading.

Yeah, shame. My wife will be happy though. I'll keep my eye on things and see what is what but I think it may be time to move on.

Half the fun was playing the market and monitoring the card prices. I guess that's no more.

It seems like this "fix" is to benefit EA by forcing people to buy packs with FIFA points.

I would think it has more to do with trying to stop coin trading and such via putting bad players up with high bids and all that. Looks like they're trying to still figure out a way to stamp out the coin selling/buying via alternative/shady means.

I also say that because Player X that goes for high price can still go for high price (so you can then still go and buy plenty more packs) -- of course it remains to be seen what the ranges are and thus how much you really end up "losing" in terms of max coins you maybe could have earned on a player. In addition, you wonder if the ranges will change at all as certain players go up or down in price based on the tourneys and so forth that are going on at the time.

If anything, I'm interested in these changes just to see how the dynamics of all this change both in the virtual marketplace and in the game itself as this could not have been a decision made on a whim.

Yea also if you read the link I posted it's give all players a chance to get guys like Messi and Ronaldo.

Yes, of course the number one reason why EA implemented this was to try to get rid of the coin selling.

But if you think about it, regular, non-inform Ronaldo's price is set to 6-9 million right now. Now that it will be very difficult, if not impossible to buy coins, how many people will be able to afford that price?

You can't trade your way to that amount, you can't buy coins and making 400-500 for each gamer will never get you there. What are your options? This is going to funnel people to buy FIFA points, which is the only way most people will get to play with players like Messi/Ronaldo (if you win the lottery).

I understand these are the price ranges set for this year. But let's say in FIFA 16, they set Messi/Ronaldo to 1-2 million (a very low estimate). How many games will you need to play to get that amount? 4000-8000 games. Most people won't ever be able to play with these players. There's a good reason that people buy coins, because the packs are a big ripoff, and the chances you will get anything other than crap is extremely low. Just as an example, EA counts things like kits, badges, stadiums, position change cards, coaches as "gold rares" and the most expensive, regular gold packs pack only contains 1 or 3 rares.

There are many, many things EA could do to make this game better, like improving their servers but instead, they choose to do this because this directly affects their bottom line. They didn't do this to help level the playing field as they claim. They did to raise their profits.

Now, if EA implemented other things to help people get better players such as raising game rewards, increasing pack chances, then I would say it is a good thing. But until then, this move just stinks of greed to me.

Well so much for the transfer market. EA seriously needs to figure out how to balance this all out. Sure messi isn't as expensive as before but now he's even more unattainable as he's still worth millions and the only way you're getting those coins is if you sell a player/players that are worth millions.

                            5k wagers anyone?

Yeah time to finally play Dragon Age. I lost Hundreds of thousands of coins yesterday. Guys that I was making 30,000 coins on are selling for a max of 4500.

I get why they did it. But it left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Has anyone gotten one of the gold mega packs? I saw one on sunday for 35,000 coins but it was only available for 24 hours and I didnt have enough coins. Ive been playing the MLS tournament that gives you the gold jumbo pack that comes with 3 rares, yet none of the rares are anyone i would have spent coins on in the first place. SO, assuming the gold mega pack comes back sometime this week, should I purchase it? It says it has 12 rares...But are these rares going to bring me a Lewandowski or anyone similiar to that quality?
