Still playing Fifa 18 (and on Switch). Been really enjoying a career I’ve had on the go since last November, but after my 5th season I’ve encountered an issue where my game just can’t get past July 25th in the subsequent transfer window. Advancing time, it gets to that date and the game acts as if it’s still working, but it just never progresses further. Cancelling the simulation also just does nothing on this date and the only way out is to force close the game and load the save again.
I’ve tried simming to a further date in the calendar but the same issue happens ok July 25th and I’ve also tried going back to an earlier save and replaying the previous game (the final pre-season tournament friendly) to no avail.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? Or is this save essentially now broken?
