I've disconnected from the internet, I'm in my second season of Career Mode, and I want to play 6-7 seasons properly at least once. I'm fed up with endlessly adjusting the sliders. Refifa claims it's already been confirmed that AI protection will be simplified. As far as I understand, they'll be implementing some fine-tuning of AI protection. Has anyone seen any information about a patch coming out tomorrow and about a patch note? I've only seen information on YouTube from Refifa, but he hasn't always been accurate in his predictions.

Omg.. are people still saying it‘s no challenge on WC harder?
i‘m getting eaten alive every game now. Didn‘t change anything and I even have a much stronger team now in my CM (Molde 3 stars instead of KFUM 1.5 stars). It‘s impossible to press the CPU even against idiot teams who are suppost to play Park the bus or kick and rush. I can’t even touch the ball and end up with like 20% posession. Wtf!

The patch notes have appeared on EA's official website. Goalkeepers will be simplified, and defensive changes have been pushed back to January. That's all for gameplay.

There is nothing about defence in update 1.3.0, people should stop overreacting like 10 years old boys.

I don't think so, it will probably be a little easier to score low shots and power shots from afar, not just trivela and finess shots, which are already going well.

Well I just „tested“ the defensive gameplay on authentic sliders and WC by not touching the controller for an entire game (2x 10mins). The game ended 0:0. Kind of tells you everything about the games state atp…
best defense is to not touch any of your players and do nothing.

Nothing new, i did the same thing in Fifa 22. Enjoy game and do not overthink about things you can not control.

I played only one match on world class. So far so good, i do not see any significant differences.

Has the bug with uniforms tucked into shorts been fixed? And the repeats fixed? You notice?

ctas78, jersery tucked in bug has been partially fixed, works in some instances, but not all. Most goal replays remain unchanged, still shows center circle, except when scoring from corners, freekicks, and penalty shots. The goal keeper nerf today hardly changed anything, no need to increase slider, in fact, probably need to reduce back to 44 or 46 to limit Spider Man scenarios.

Everything's the same. The only thing is, they slightly reduced the height of the ball on crosses, and it's become a little harder to score with headers. My entire attack is built around tall forwards with headers. It also feels a little easier to score with finesse shots.
