finally got the game but need your help w/ the option file for ps4.

I downloaded the BPL kit and moved everything under a WEPES folder as instructed.

When I load the game, I have like 100 'broken folder' icons, then I see the kits/emblems after that. So I have to import each kit/emblem separately for each category of the game.

Is getting that broken folder icon no biggie? and how should it have been uploaded?

        Re: PES Option File Thread

So I had no ****ing intention to download the Update because I knew it would ruin my edited players that I had already worked on, but somehow the game still forces me to take the download. Not only that, but even after I select do not update national team players or club players, I get shafted and forced to go back to generic faces, killing all the hours I edited.

The **** is wrong with this game? Anyone know how to get it back through the backed-up file? I couldn't find it. If I have to edit my players again and waste several more hours doing so, I'm going to break this game in half. No lie.

Please help this frustrated and angry gamer out.

Are you seeing folders instead of your files with little yellow triangles in the top corner? Are you using a mac?

If this is the case I had the same issue when I used my USB on my mac, it was a FAT32 formatted USB but for some reason when using a mac to transfer the files to the usb stick this happens. Seems to be a common problem.

I went on my wife's old PC and downloaded the same files, unzipped them, and put them on the same usb stick and it worked perfectly. Hope that helps.

Here's a link to a BLUS option file for PS3 for latest data pack:

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

File is based off of Cypes option file from pesgaming forums and most of the credit goes to him. I just had to spend hours on the conversion from BLES to BLUS. Enjoy!!!

What are the best option files for PS4? I'm trying to get a career mode going with a BPL team and I'm looking forward to coach mode but I have never tried the option file stuff on PS4. I have always done it on PC and downloaded it all and dropped it in. Can anyone help?

PES Universe has all the kits and logos. There aren't option files on PS4 like there were on PS3 and are on PC. You have to load all the kits individually for each team, unfortunately.

PES is on sale and I'm going to be getting it. Are the files easy to install? From what I've read it has to be done individually, unlike the old way on PS3. I'm cool with that. I'd just like to know if it's easy to download and install, with minimal problems. Thanks.

It can be tedious at first but once you get the hang of it I found it to be pretty easy. It helps to have your laptop/cpu next to you with the folders open. I can tell most of the BPL's kits off the top of my head but some can look a little similar.

Thanks for your reply. I had heard that it could be complicated or didn't work half the time. If I get the game, I need my option files [emoji4]

Do you know what leagues are available with the top option files?
                      Thanks again [emoji109]

Can someone help me install a PS3 option file for PES 2016? It's the U.S. conversion from the Euro file by Cypes. I'm having trouble getting it installed.

What are the chances of finding a ps3 2016 option file with updated transfers for the new season? Love the game and I'd really like to stick with it.

Well, here is what PES Universe will be offering with regards to option files for 2017:

Two paid options, which they claim will be easiest, and a free option. Kinda vague, but a YouTube video explains that the free version will take more time because you'll have to put each file in the right folder. They say they don't have an early version of the game, so your guess is as good as mine as far as how they know what the overall process will be.

I've never used an OF from PESUniverse, is it usually pretty good? I'd hope so to be required to pay because I have never paid for an OF before.

I assume there will be other OF's out there too that are free, but this one looks to be pretty good. I'd throw down a few bucks for a convenient OF like this.

Do you know if there are updates we have to pay again?

EDIT - After reading some more of their FAQs, I see that this is FREE but what you pay for is them to ship you an OF? Am I getting this right?

                                The updates would be free.

There are two prices. One for them to send you a USB with everything on it, and one for them to email you everything. But everything will be on the website for free to download. I've no idea how much of a hassle it will be to assemble everything together manually tho.
