Have we come in here saying, keep it up Arshavin! No, I didn't think so. None of us support that as well. Plus, they're not even on the same level. The amount and way that Barca have gone about it is completely different. Is tapping up still tapping up, yes, but it's not just black and white. I want it to stop, but until Arshavin forces an Arsenal shirt over someone's head, I'm not going to be as furious as I am at Barca.

Well the first post kinda implies that, doesnt it? Or am I reading too much into "it would be unbelievable"?

I was saying it would be unbelievable if we got the keeper, not that I want player tapping to occur.

But saying this is remotely similar to Barca is laughable. It said in the article Akinfeev spoke to Arshavin to talk to him about London life. This was Akinfeev speaking to the press, not Arshavin. Barca are having players speak to the press about Cesc EVERY SINGLE DAY trying to unsettle him. They are focing Barca jerseys over Cesc's head, continuing to contact Arsenal after Arsenal said not to, and that's not even the half of it.

So Akinfeev has one conversation with Arshavin, and now Arsenal are acting like Barcelona? LOL.

Revealed today that Barca lost 77 million Euro's last season. Nothing like attempting to spend what you don't have.

In actual Arsenal news, it looked like a few days ago that Sol Campbell was indeed going to resign with us, but now he has a medical with Newcastle.

Sol Campbell is due to have a medical with Newcastle this afternoon with a view to signing for the newly-promoted Premier League club tomorrow

Trying to talk Cesc in to handing in a transfer request by creating a rift between the club and him was Barca's plan all along. That was the only way they were getting him as they couldn't afford to pay his value. Especially after locking up Villa.

Exactly. Barca had to take a loan out to pay their players salaries last year. Their "devious" plan is so obvious and I still cannot believe Platini has done nothing. Nothing!!

Respected Journalist, Graham Hunter says Cesc will informed Wenger he wants to leave.

I say Wenger says "No, maybe next year".

Cesc will pout and then say ok.

Repeat this whole circus next year.

Cesc isn't going anywhere. He may say he wants to leave but he won't outright hand in a transfer request and thats the only way Wenger sells him for anything less than 40 million pounds.

It was reported once again today that Wenger stated Fabregas is not going anywhere. I think if we were truly going to make this deal, we already would've done it.

It's not happening this year. Next year is a different story, though.

Yeah, there's no telling what will happen next year, aside from Barca pulling the same crap.

Cesc has to hand in a transfer request. That is the only way they sell him. And if he doesn't do it next summer, they yet again don't sell.

If Barca offers 45 million pounds he is gone. 40 is probably what he is worth but Arsene will add on a 5 million pound douchebag tax.

Everyone knows the Emirates Cup is on GolTV this weekend, right? Watching Arsenal/Milan and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see the red & white in action. The kits are fantastic in action and this isn't even in HD. I'm tempted to bug my wife for a shirt for Christmas...

                            I caught the game today.

Chamachk looked a lot more skillful than I thought he would be. The dude was pulling some CR9 moves out there.

The guy that impressed me the most though was Nasri. He looks like a completely different player than last year. Seems like he was going at defenders a lot more today which is something this team sorely needs.

Koscielny looked good as well. Once again though Fabianski was by far the teams biggest weakness as he was very indecisive on the set piece that led to the Milan goal. Marking wasn't great either but its no excuse on the repeated indecisiveness of our keepers on set pieces and crosses.

Walcott played well until Wenger moved him to striker and he became non existent.

Overall a very entertaining game for a friendly.

It's hard to believe he won't be, but that could mean a change in formation. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we eventually see him and RVP up top each week together.
