As a Cavs fan, the courting of Fabregas grabbed my attention and makes Aresnal feel familiar. I like Walcott's story, and I also like how they're competitive, but not a team like the Yankees that buys their way into competition. I also like Wenger's demeanor and the clubs munitions producing history gives their "cool" factor a boost.

I had read that Stoke was a great defenive team, and I like those types of squads in all sports. All these teams have their own personality it seems. I like that about soccer.

The captain and heart of the team leaving is usually a big deal, yes?
As a noob, Ive probably underestimated his impact. In the few Arsenal games Ive seen, his talent really stands out. He one of the few players Ive seen where it seems like he just kicks it...and teammates are suddenly open in space.

Looking forward to their match with Braga today.

You'll quickly see he's one of the few players in the world capable of playing a ball that has "information" on it.

Welcome aboard, sir. I was originally attracted to Arsenal years ago due to the way they play the game, which I definitely feel is the right way.

I only really got into soccer last year but the best way to understand Fabregas as a basketball fan is view him as Steve Nash. Actually, soccer can be understood by thinking of it like basketball. Like Nash, Fabregas is not the most athletic guy but he's so precise with his passes that he sets up other guys to score.

When he's inevitably gone, I'm confident Roscisky can hold the fort until Wilshere or Ramsey are ready (which might be now).

Wilshere looked pretty solid this afternoon and Cesc made some awesome passes....

Don't forget about Nasri. I think we can plug him into Cesc's role when needed and not notice a huge difference. A difference, oh yes, but we can still play the same.

Cesc was just outstanding. It was incredible to watch.

well the Manager of Bragga needs to be fired

you dont go to The Arsenal and try and play footy lol

So impressed with Wiltshire off the ball only once did he let anyone run off his back shoulder, he always fills in as the ball is switched creats more opportunities than Diaby and Denilson and rarely gives the ball away.A great future ahead of him im sure

Can we get through a season and paper over the goal keeping issue by playing 1 and 1/2 holding midfielders?

I dont know but im very impressed with young Jack

Now hopefully the media will stop it with the "Cesc is pouting his way through games" comments. I also loved that Cesc had several chances at a hat-trick but chose to set up teammates for the goal instead.

That's what makes Cesc so good. he's developed more of a goal scoring touch in the last year or so, but is still a pass first guy. No matter where he goes, I will always be a fan of his.

While I wish we would have got a new keeper, I'm happy that Wenger at least got some experience and depth into the squad. Is it enough to win something this year? Far too early to tell, but I do like what I see so far.

Onto more important issues. I'm planning to get the new home kit this year...who should I get on the back?

By far Jack's best game in an Arsenal shirt. I thought he was brilliant as well. Having Wilshere and Ramsey makes me feel good about our midfield in the future. Assuming Ramsey is the same player.

I thought Wilshire was impressive as well. Looks really confidant for a young guy, and as stated above he always seemed to be in the right spot to break up attacks or continue the build-up play.

I think Cesc got pissed after that first no-call. He was killing all game.

The passing overall was incredible to watch. No other team seems to have that same chemistry...or is Braga just that bad?

I got a Chamakh home kit for this year.

Thinking about a Wilshere away still.
