Jack is an automatic starter once he is match fit. I think you can ease him in much slower, but you have to play your most talented midfielder."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
If we do go after an attacker in January, I hope it is someone who is a bit selfish around goal. As much as Gervinho has added a much needed injection of direct attacking, and seemingly passed that onto Theo as well, I feel we still lack a "selfish" player in our attack. It is that little bit I think we have been missing on the team since Henry left. A player whose mentality around goal demands the attention of defenders to block a shot first, rather than cover a final pass. Henry was always a threat to curl one in from anywhere near the 18 and opened the cheekier interplay for others around him so packing it in wasn't the answer to shutting down Arsenal. Even if this player is just one that will share minutes and possibly come on as a change of look at the end of games like the Everton one (and yes I know we won't be getting another Henry) it would be nice to know that defenses would have to second guess their approach to that player and it won't be more of the same.Comment

So who do you reckon gets the drop when he's fully fit? Ramsey? I personally would drop Arteta, but that's just me.Comment

Yeah I thinks it's Arteta as well. I believe he is better suited than Ramsey to come of the bench. And by the time Jack is healthy Arteta would have played quite a few games and will be ready to preserve those legs somewhat."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Bring on Milan. I haven't had this much confidence in our side in quite awhile. We're playing very well and lets not forget we were a Bendtner miss away last year from knocking out Barca.
Milan is a tough draw, but it's nothing we haven't done before.Comment

The always reliable Daily Mail is linking you with Wayne Bridge to ease your problems at LB. Ease the problems? More like worsen. He was horrific during his loan spell at West Ham at the back end of last season.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Wayne Bridge makes no sense other than the fact he is available and of course the British media assume there is no professional football outside the British isles so it's not like there are alternatives.
Naturally, he is a typical Wenger player. Monumentally slow, earns £90,00 per week and technically mediocre (and that is being polite). Not to mention the fact that Wenger has made no secret of his pleasure in seeing City's wild investment in wages come back to bite them when the cannot get rid of players...
We do need a left back though imo. Gibbs is made of glass and has shown himself to e distinctly average when he is fit. Santos is a defensive liability. I doubt Wenger will see it that way though, I doubt we will bring anyone in defensively unless it literally lands in our lap.
I think given the way the fixtures stack up in the second half of the year we will see far more rotation regardless of Diaby and Wilshere. Ramsey is not too far removed from a bad injury and Arteta has less than perfect injury record, so I wouldn't be shocked to see all three of the starting mid-fielders rotated out with Colequin, Wilshere and Benayoun getting more time. I think Frimpong will be loaned out in January - Bolton or Villa would be good places for him imo.Comment

More Benayoun please, Mr. Wenger. We were asking last week what he had to do to get any playing time, and here he comes in and makes an instant impact. Great match, exciting finish, and 3 points to the Arsenal.Comment
