I only can find stories in the Daily Mail and The Sun...so, I'm going to wait for now.

Yeah, they're not exactly the most reliable sources. And even if the talks did go poorly, it's still early in the discussions, and Arsenal aren't going to blow him away with an offer right off the bat. I'll be concerned if the talks are going poorly a long ways into the negotiations.

True, but after how last Summer progressed, let's just say that I am not optimistic.

Oh I'm pissed that we still haven't given him a ton of money and told him we're making quality signings and will play Podilski up front with him so he can create and score goals.

Some good news on the Wilshere front, his surgery went "according to plan" and he should be fit before the start of next season.

He better be. I think his absence was definitely noticed more and more as the season went on.

Kalou's available on a free. He's been strongly linked to us before, and he's being heavily linked to us now. Thoughts?

If you guys don't want him, I wouldn't mind him coming to us. Depends on his wage demands. 36 premier league goals in 94 appearances is pretty good considering the majority of those are as a sub.

Mirror is reporting that Nicklas Bendtner, Denilson, Sebastien Squillaci and Johan Djourou could all be gone to add Junior Hoilett, Salomon Kalou, Yann M’Vila and Steven N’Zonzi.

Nicklas Bendtner, Denilson, Sebastien Squillaci and Johan Djourou could all face the axe to make room for Junior Hoilett, Salomon Kalou, Yann M’Vila and Steven N’Zonzi

At this point I believe those players are leaving, but not that those others are coming in.

I'm still relatively new to all of this, but in a perfect situation, how many forwards/wings does a side have?

We already have Walcott/Gervinho/AOC. What is a good number to settle on?

Well, you need at least one more for depth. Ramsey and Rosicky are capable of playing on the wings, but I believe they are much better at sticking to the center of the pitch.

Love the CAM depth for next season if Wilshere comes back at full strength.

What do you guys think about Benayoun? Do we buy him from Chelsea?

I would like to, as I think you can never have too much depth and he was a good player for us this year, but I think he's going to want more playing time than we can offer him.

Is Arshavin's contract up in the summer or are you stuck with him?
